THE ONE AND ONLY FAMILY is out today.
I treasured spending more time with these characters. If you get a chance to read it, I hope you do, too. ❤️ @HarperChildrens #mglit

As Farmingdale struggles with the recent tragedy, districts across Long Island and beyond will continue to show their compassion and solidarity by wearing green next week. We ask that all Massapequa students and staff wear GREEN when school resumes on Tuesday. @DrBillBrennan

The rare Super Blue Moon will rise tomorrow, Wednesday, August 30.
This will be the last Super Blue Moon until 2037.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
A blue moon contrary to its name and the image shown on the post, is not blue, its when a full moon happens twice in one month, which happens every 2.7 years.
A super blue moon is when it's slightly brighter and appears 14% larger.

Tony left us today but he was still singing the other day at his piano and his last song was, “Because of You,” his first #1 hit.
Tony, because of you we have your songs in our heart forever. ❤

Taylor Swift just made more No. 1 albums than any woman in history.
You know what nobody is reporting?
That throughout her tour, she's been donating to local food banks.
This week alone, she donated to Colorado's largest food bank, providing 75,000 meals to feed those in need.

Reading aloud — it’s pretty amazing for kids (and grownups, too)! Whatever you’re doing this summer, make sure to spend some time reading aloud to the children in your life.
