"Every life counts: from the beginning to the end, from conception to natural death."

Abortion is not nor has it ever been about health care. Abortion is the murder of unborn babies. 62 million dead babies are on your head!
ICYMI - A dog that died five years ago just received a letter restoring her voting rights in Virginia. And her owner says she was never a convicted felon in the first place.
Biscuit, a beagle-hound mix from Goochland County, was apparently identified as a convicted felon under Gov. Abigail Spanberger's rights-restoration process, prompting Republican Del. Tom Garrett to demand an investigation.
The official certificate bears the governor's signature and states that Biscuit's criminal case was reviewed before her rights were restored.
Now Garrett wants to know how a deceased family pet made it through the state's vetting process, just days before Virginians vote on a constitutional amendment concerning voting rights for people with felony convictions.
The dog's owner has a response of his own, and there's another detail about Biscuit's family raising questions.
ICYMI - Apparently, New York Attorney General Letitia James and two district attorneys faced an AWKWARD MOMENT when a reporter asked whether prosecutors had been ordered to DOWNGRADE GUN CHARGES against illegal immigrants to help them avoid deportation. Instead of a direct answer, the officials remained silent.
The question followed a Republican-led House Judiciary Committee report alleging that New York prosecutors reduced charges to avoid immigration consequences. Critics say the silence speaks volumes, while prosecutors have denied offering special treatment in gun cases.

For nearly 40 years, we've been told the clock is about to run out.
The deadline just keeps moving.
In 1989, a senior UN environmental official told the Associated Press that governments had a 10-year window, or entire nations could be wiped off the map by rising seas. The year 2000 came and went. The Maldives are still there.
In 2009, Al Gore told a UN climate summit there was a 75% chance the Arctic could be ice-free in summer within five to seven years. The Arctic has kept its summer ice every year since.
That same year, Prince Charles said we had 100 months to save the world. That clock ran out in 2017.
In 2018, Greta Thunberg shared a warning that climate change would wipe out humanity unless we quit fossil fuels within five years. She later deleted it.
In 2019, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez @AOC said the world would end in 12 years if we didn't address climate change.
Notice the pattern. The deadline is always close enough to scare you, and far enough away that nobody gets held to it.
So let's be honest about what's actually true.
Is the earth warming? The data says yes. But this planet's climate has always changed, from ice ages to warm periods long before the first factory was built.
Does man play a role? Probably some. But if the doomsday version were right, we'd be living in it by now.
Do we have a responsibility to care for this planet? Absolutely. Conservation is a conservative value.
But responsibility doesn't mean panic. It doesn't mean shutting down clean, reliable power like nuclear. It doesn't mean forcing everything electric before the grid can handle it. And it doesn't mean "green" policies that do more harm than good.
Clean up our trash. Protect our land and water. Use common sense.
Fear is not a policy. And a movement that has missed every deadline it set owes the public a lot more humility
When you fill out your ballot or push that button for any Democrat, this is what you are supporting:
George Orwell saw this coming more than 80 years ago.
In Animal Farm, the animals run off the farmer and set up a farm where everyone is supposed to be equal. The pigs take charge, promising it's all for the good of the farm.
Then the rules painted on the barn wall start changing. A word here, a line there, with a pig on a ladder holding the paintbrush.
By the end, there's only one rule left. "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."
The DSA Democrats sell socialism as fairness. Their own platform calls for putting the largest corporations under "public ownership and democratic control." Sounds great on a bumper sticker.
But somebody has to run all that ownership and control. It's never going to be you.
Look at how it actually played out. In the old Soviet Union, regular folks stood in line for hours for basic groceries, while party bosses shopped at special stores and spent weekends at country dachas.
In North Korea, people starved by the hundreds of thousands in the 1990s while the Kim family lived like royalty.
Shared misery for the masses. Luxury and full bellies for the people at the top.
History is clear on this. There's no mistake about it. Every time socialism gets put into practice, the pigs end up living in the farmhouse.
And the folks who believed the promise end up staring up at the wall wondering what just happened.
We don't need to learn this lesson the hard way in America. The rest of the world already did it for us.
Do you think the people cheering for the DSA have any idea what they'd actually be signing up for?
The men who founded this country didn't inherit their freedom. They fought for it. Farmers, shopkeepers, and tradesmen picked up muskets against the most powerful empire on earth, and everything we still have today, our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, our way of life, came out of that fight.
Sadly, a lot of Americans have forgotten that. Worse, a lot of them were never taught it in the first place.
And you can see the results everywhere you look.
How else do you explain so many young people cheering for socialism? It has failed everywhere it's been tried, from the Soviet Union to Cuba to Venezuela. Meanwhile they trash capitalism, the system that built the most prosperous nation in history, and they do it from an iPhone.
How else do you explain the attack on free speech? FIRE's newest college survey found 69% of students say shouting down a speaker is acceptable in at least some cases. Nearly 1 in 3 say the same about using violence to stop a campus speech.
How else do you explain the endless push to chip away at the Second Amendment? The Founders didn't write it for duck hunting. They wrote it because they had just used their own guns to throw off a tyrant, and they wanted to make sure the people could always do it again.
That's exactly what this quote is warning about. When people forget where their freedom came from, they stop understanding why it matters. And once that happens, they'll trade it away for a promise of free stuff and a little "safety."
Ronald Reagan warned that freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. He wasn't exaggerating.
We can't count on anyone else to teach this. It starts at our own kitchen tables, with our kids and grandkids.
Do you think we've already lost a generation, or is there still time to turn this around?

Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton is sounding the alarm after his Democrat opponent, former Biden HHS Secretary and California Attorney General Xavier Becerra, refused to rule out a per-mile driving tax.
Hilton didn't hold back:
"Every California driver would be TRACKED and charged by the mile, costing an extra $1,000 a year! California, this situation is dire. You can't afford more GOUGING! Elect me governor, and I'll VETO the mileage tax."
And Becerra's position? When KCRA asked if he'd support a mileage tax, he said, "Everything should be on the table."
Everything. Including your odometer.
Here's the punchline. California already has the highest gas tax in America. It jumped again on July 1 to 63.4 cents a gallon. Automatically. No vote required.
So naturally, the fix is a second tax on driving.
The excuse is that EV owners don't buy gas. But plug-ins are a small slice of the cars on California roads. The vast majority of drivers are still filling up and paying the nation's top gas tax every week.
And Sacramento is suddenly worried about money for roads? This is the same state that sold voters a $33 billion bullet train in 2008. The estimate for the first phase now sits around $126 billion. Nearly two decades later, nobody has bought a ticket.
Then there's the tracking. State pilots let drivers report by odometer, but most who used tech picked GPS devices. Once the government knows how far you drive, how long before it wants to know where?
The Founders wrote the Fourth Amendment so government couldn't go rummaging through your life without cause. A per-mile tax turns every trip to work, church, or the grocery store into a line on a government ledger.
And people wonder why Californians keep packing up. The state lost about 216,000 more residents to other states than it gained in a single year.
But relax. Newsom and his party are very concerned about affordability. They'll fix it right after they bill you for the drive to work.
Election Day is Tuesday. If you live in California, get out and vote red. The rest of the country should pay attention too, because what starts in Sacramento rarely stays there.
Would you trust Sacramento with a record of every mile you drive?
