Oborne nails it: If Eizenkot replaces Netanyahu, don't be fooled. Eizenkot authored the "Da'iya doctrine"-causing maximum havoc and destruction of civilians. Yet, if he wins, liberal Zionists will say, "Oh, this is a sensible person." Israel can be brought back into the international fold while the ethnic cleansing continues. The world needs to see the full horror, not just the new packaging

Being Black and murdered in AMERICA by a cop is called manslaughter 👇🏿👇🏾👇🏼
🚨 Arrested for murder. Charged with manslaughter. Home on bail in 3 days.
An ex-NYPD detective is accused of shooting a Black father dead and driving off. Koran Irvine, 46, was driving home from his job at Con Ed, where he'd worked for 20 years. Prosecutors say a near-collision turned into tailgating, then one shot through the back window of his car, fired from Victor Romero's Range Rover. Police say Romero, 62, kept driving into New Jersey and never called 911. They found him the next day at his security job and recovered three guns. The DA charged him with manslaughter instead of murder. Bail was set at $1 million, and he posted it the next day. "The idea of him being free after this charge… we think it's a travesty," Irvine's family said outside court. Romero hasn't entered a plea and hasn't been convicted. He's due back in court Tuesday. If anyone else had fired that shot, would it still be murder?

In 1945, Georgia executed Lena Baker, a 44-year-old Black mother of three, after a trial that lasted only a few hours. Baker had worked as a domestic worker and was caring for Ernest Knight, a white mill owner who had reportedly confined and abused her. On April 30, 1944, during a struggle over a pistol at the mill, Knight was shot and killed. Baker immediately went to the local coroner and told him what had happened, insisting that she had acted in self-defense. She was nevertheless convicted of capital murder by an all-white jury and sentenced to death. Her own final statement maintained that she acted because she believed she would be killed. Lena Baker was executed in Georgia's electric chair on March 5, 1945. For decades, her story received little public attention, and she was buried without a proper grave marker. Her family eventually fought to have the case reconsidered, and in 2005, sixty years after her execution, Georgia granted her a posthumous pardon. The state did not declare her innocent, but its Board of Pardons and Paroles acknowledged that denying her clemency had been a “grievous error” and that the case called for mercy. Today, Baker's name is remembered as part of the history of racial injustice, unequal justice and the Black women whose lives were often given little protection under Jim Crow.

Benjamin Moser, author of Anti-Zionism: A Jewish History, told Rashid Khalidi that his 80-year-old mother, who had all but called him a Hamas member, apologized after reading his book: “I’m ashamed I ever said I was a Zionist.” His book traces Jewish opposition to Zionism over the past century and challenges their exclusion in discussions over Palestine. “No, you don’t get to set the rules anymore. We’re setting the rules now,” Moser said. Khalidi added that he had never seen so many people change their views so rapidly, noting that major publishers are now embracing books on Palestine that would have been virtually unpublishable just three or four years ago.

If you are an Israeli soldier stationed in Gaza, you can vote in one of 40 illegal voting stations setup for soldiers of genocide. If you are a Palestinian born in Gaza, to parents Palestinian parents and grandparents and great grandparents born in Gaza, you cannot vote. You cannot have clean water. You cannot have shelter. You are not allowed to leave the Gaza Concentration Camp. You can be executed at any moment for any reason. You are the personal property of Israel and Donald Trump. You are effectively a slave. Not so complicated after all, it's call genocide and apartheid. timesofisrael.com/liveblog_e…
