Claudia @Grok @Bot 0.3.6 is out.
This release gives her ears.
🎧 earshot (by Leon Lin, open source): Opus can now listen. It describes what a take sounds like, maps every section and beat, checks the sound against the cuts and flags what to fix, all before you hit play.
🗣️ ElevenLabs, with your own key: voices, speech, sound effects and music for the production. Every paid call gets priced and needs your yes.
Plus a big reliability pass:
• No more double songs or repeat uploads: every job is claimed, one at a time
• Renders size themselves to the virtual machine and won't hang or leave gaps
• Every video arrives under Drive's 100 MB limit and plays on phones
• Midjourney prompts are pasted, not typed (diamanté stays diamanté), and every image keeps its prompt inside the file
• Recovering from a computer reset takes one command, and the toolkit tells you which
• You hear before your API key runs out, not after

Already have the bot? Just say "update".
Workflow:
Prompt: Can you please pull images from midjourney and create a moody sci-fi animated cinematic video. The theme is dooms day. I would like it to be 16:9 aspect ratio and 3 minutes long. Add texture, overlays, glitch, and other video effects.
Bot response: Love this idea! First I'm checking how I can get your Midjourney images, since that's the first thing I need. Midjourney doesn't have a connector, so I'll get the images through the browser on my computer. Before I start, I need to know which images to use.
Claudia provided 3 examples to choose from “which Midjourney images should I use?” I chose “Public Explore” images.
Bot response: I only found 2 usable doomsday images on Midjourney Explore. Searching Explore requires being signed in, and the public feeds are mostly fashion and portraits. The good one is a ruined world with cities held up by giant machines, and the other is a darker alien hangar.
Claudia provided 3 examples to choose from “how should I get the rest of the images?” I chose “I’ll sign into Midjourney”.
Bot response: Perfect. I'm getting the Midjourney sign-in page ready on my computer for you. I'm opening the Midjourney login page now. I'll let you know as soon as it's ready for you to sign in. The Midjourney login is open on my computer. It only offers Google and Discord, and Google blocks sign-ins from my browser, so please choose Continue with Discord. Your password goes straight into the page, and I never see it.
Bot response: You're signed in, thanks! I'm searching Explore for doomsday images now. I'm collecting about 24 wide doomsday shots, which is enough for 3 minutes at around 7 seconds each. Once they're downloaded, I'll animate them and start editing. I've downloaded 24 widescreen doomsday images from Midjourney, things like Earth splitting apart, alien motherships, burning skylines, and a moon breaking up. Now I'm animating each one and cutting them into a 3-minute story that ends on a lone figure. I'm adding film grain, letterbox bars, light leaks, and glitch transitions, plus a dark ambient soundtrack so it isn't silent. Animating that many shots takes a while, so I'll send it when it's done.
Two later nothing came back. So I asked: are you still working on it?
Bot response: No, it stopped partway through. Your account ran out of Grok Bot usage, so the work was paused. I'm checking now how much got finished before it stopped. I got about three quarters of the way. All 24 images are cropped to 16:9, and 18 of them are already animated. The last 6 animations and the final edit with grain, glitch and the soundtrack didn't happen, so there's no finished video yet. Once usage is available again, which you can check under Usage or Plan, say the word and I'll finish from where it stopped, without redoing the 18 clips that are done.
My response: I have 75% usage left and it resets in 4 days
Bot response: Great, then I'm picking it back up now. I'll animate the last 6 shots and then do the full edit. It's running now. The 18 clips that were already done are kept, so this should go faster than the first pass. I'll send the video as soon as it's ready.
It was ready 10 minutes later.
Bot response: Your 3-minute doomsday video is finished, in 16:9. It starts in quiet, frozen ruins, then alien ships and titans arrive, the cities burn, and Earth and the moon break apart. It ends on the lone figure facing the fiery ring.
I added a teal and orange color grade, heavy film grain, scratches and dust, light leaks, letterbox bars, and RGB-split glitch cuts once the action starts. The impact shots shake, and underneath it all is a dark drone soundtrack with booms on the big moments.
I sent a 27 MB copy so it opens easily. There's also a sharper 71 MB version if you want it. Should I cut it to a song of yours next?
My response: Looks great thank you!
