black men embrace it bc they were given ontological crumbs with which to fashion an identity. Instead of resisting these white-authored tropes like any dignified men would, they fully embrace it while convincing themselves it’s their agency. It’s actually successful domination.
That big black cock stereotype is very dehumanising

Sex can be emotionally profound. However, it can also be casual, recreational, transactional, or even purely physical. The mistake is assuming that because sex is deeply meaningful to you, it must somehow carry the same psychological weight for everyone else. You can sleep with someone and feel absolutely nothing. You can spend one night talking to someone and continue thinking about him or her years later. Sex isn't inherently profound. It lacks any intrinsic sanctity. The significance of sexual experiences comes from the people having them and the context in which they occur. What you are doing is confusing your subjective experience with some universal psychological truth.
Sex is about the most intimate experience you can have with another person. Every barrier is droped, every mask removed. You have nothing more to hide behind. Something so powerful and so intimate needs to be gatekept. When you do that with multiple people, multiple times a year, year after year, ever new parter reduces the power it holds. Exposing the deepest parts of your psyche so repeatedly in such a brazen way numbs that part of you, like a hand that has been burned to many times. The psyche begins to callous over and scar. The flesh becomes the master of the mind. Each time you need a greater oxytocin hit, but the experience stops producing. You become addicted to the physical, over the mental.

!!!!
People need to listen to sex workers and stop with the savior complex bullshit: SWs know what they need and can advocate for themselves. If you genuinely care for their safety, stop treating them like babies who don't know what's good for them. Listen and support them.

Sex work isn't glamorous or tragic. It's work. Sex isn’t inherently dangerous. The danger in sex work comes from stigma and the impacts of criminalization (and the Nordic model), not the work itself. Sex workers don't need saving. They need rights.
