Gonna go ahead and say my piece on this and I'm sure this won't age poorly:
If this was for his comments before the game, fine, I get it. If this is about the play of Jeanty vs Mike Washington, I seriously need to call into question Kubiak's ability to evaluate RB play.
If you watch these games their run scheme is an absolute disaster in execution and whenever Jeanty was on the field, he'd often face 8+ guys in the box with first level penetration. Whenever Washington was on the field teams lightened the box intentionally and this is why he was able to spring explosive runs, but he'd still struggle to create consistent gains, or force missed tackles.
The Jets game was a blowup spot for their run game. They benched JPJ for Trey Zuhn and the Jets were missing Sweat. The fact Washington couldn't force a single missed tackle in 25 attempts on top of inefficiency isn't good.
You gave Zach Charbonnet almost as many carries last year as K9. It took a season ending injury to Charbs for K9 to eclipse more than 19 attempts in a game last season. There is keeping your guys fresh and then there is just blatant misuse of talent.
The passing game is incredible and there's a reason Kubiak was held in high esteem during the coaching cycle and he has proven that just this season. Miss me with his whole comments about the run game.
The Raiders hope Ashton Jeanty’s soft benching serves as a wake up call, per @DanGrazianoESPN
“Jeanty hasn't played well while Washington has, and the Raiders hope it serves as a wake-up call.
If it doesn't, they're content to distribute the carries in Washington's favor moving forward, as he offers a more explosive element in the run game right now.”

Joe Montana asked to play with Barry Sanders in Detroit. The Lions told him no.
He had four Super Bowl rings. And he called the Lions coach himself.
The front office turned him down in two words.
In the video below, Barry repeats exactly what they said.
It was 1993. Montana was leaving San Francisco and wanted one more shot with the best runner in football.
Wayne Fontes took it upstairs. He came back with the answer and had to tell Montana no.
Montana went to Kansas City instead. That same season, he took the Chiefs to the AFC Championship Game.
The best quarterback of his generation and the best runner alive could have shared a backfield. Detroit passed over a birth certificate.
On today’s market, Montana’s deal would be worth about $45 million a year. Barry’s, about $42 million. Detroit could have had both. What they really made is in the article below.

On the Raiders’ backfield going forward.

JUST IN: Vice President JD Vance is blaming the Iran war for Republicans' sweeping midterm defeat as Democrats seize control of Congress.
"The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night."
Vance says the party also needs to confront voters' cost-of-living frustrations, its America First priorities and its relationship with Israel.
He acknowledges those who warned Republicans about the political consequences, saying they have every right to say, "I told you so."
The fallout is now raising questions about the party's direction and the political cost of the war heading into 2028.

The Jack Campbell injury and subsequent updates are not typical in the NFL. Based on the video, it didn't appear to be the kind of injury that would cause paralysis. Hoping and praying for the best, but the situation is concerning.

I'm a cardiologist.
Back against the kitchen wall, knees bent, two minutes. Rest. Four times.
In a 100-person randomized trial, doing that 3 days a week for 4 weeks lowered systolic pressure about 9 points more than in people who didn't.
Save this one.
Four weeks of wall squats reduced systolic blood pressure by nearly 10 points in adults with high blood pressure.
Researchers then compared continuing three sessions weekly with reducing to two, one, or none for another month. Systolic pressure remained roughly 7 mmHg below starting levels in the once- and twice-weekly groups. Continuing three sessions weekly produced the greatest reduction of about 14 mmHg. In those who stopped completely, blood pressure moved back toward baseline.
This fits with a previous analysis of randomized trials that identified isometric exercise, which involves holding a muscle contraction, as an effective way to lower resting blood pressure.
What interests me is the practical question - how much of an exercise benefit can we preserve when we temporarily have less time? This study suggests that reducing the frequency can retain part of the benefit for up to a month.

A very interesting thread here from Amash.
I would remind voters that you have the principled choice of voting Libertarian in Michigan and not submitting to either major party choice.
It goes without saying that I have major disagreements with both Mike Rogers and Abdul El-Sayed, and neither one particularly likes me.
Rogers and I regularly battled in the U.S. House. I’m a staunch defender of liberty and the Constitution, and he’s a champion of big weaponized government, mass surveillance, and endless wars. He tried (and failed) to oust me from Congress.
When I was considering a presidential run in 2020, El-Sayed wrote a gratuitous op-ed to warn people that “Justin Amash is no hero,” calling my principles “heartless” and finishing with the reminder: “Your enemy’s enemy is not your friend.”
In short, I have no soft spot for either of these guys.
I also don’t vote for “the lesser of two evils.”
I believe you should support a candidate only if you truly want the person to hold that office.
I’ve already voted, and consistent with the above principle, I didn’t vote for Rogers or El-Sayed.
But I do know which one would be more dangerous in the U.S. Senate—and it’s not even close.
