On 3 November 2026, the @WanguKanjaF marked the My Data, Our Health (MDOH) Day of Action by bringing together volunteers who had participated in the Whereโs My Data? initiative during Digital Health Week 2026. The volunteers had visited health facilities across Nairobi, Kiambu and Kajiado counties to request access to their own health records.
The findings revealed that accessing personal health records was not always easy, with most volunteers reporting challenges, particularly in public health facilities.
Everyone has the right to access their health information. Health facilities must address these barriers and ensure that individuals can access their records promptly, easily and with dignity.

WHERE IS ABSHIR ABDI?
East Africa is increasingly becoming home of abductions and enforced disappearances. Families are left searching for answers while those responsible remain unaccountable.
WE SHOULD NOT NORMALISE ABDUCTIONS.

The passage of the Sexual Offences (Amendment) Bill, 2023, is a welcome step towards strengthening public awareness of sexual offences and protecting survivorsโ right to education, including teenage mothers.
The next step is to ensure the Bill is fully enacted, adequately funded and effectively implemented, with clear guidelines and accountability mechanisms.
Survivors must not be denied an education because of sexual violence. The law must move beyond paper to deliver protection, access to justice and lasting change.

Kenya does not lack leaders promising to fix it. What it lacks is a politics that begins with us. The People's Manifesto is a citizen-written agenda for 2027 and beyond, built ward by ward and county by county from the lived realities of ordinary Kenyans. Here, your voice is not a comment box; it is the source text. Share the issues that shape your daily life, rank what matters most, and watch a living manifesto take form, one rooted in Utu, in our shared dignity, and in the conviction that power belongs to the people as Article 1 of the constitution affirms. Before anyone asks for your vote in 2027, let them answer to your demands. Add your voice today.

A community that protects girls also holds perpetrators accountable.
Families should not use silence to protect a perpetrator. Institutions should not dismiss reports.

Protection at 12 should mean she can grow into 32 knowing that her community will listen to her, believe her, defend her rights and stand with her when she speaks.
