I came out the ground feeling like the reds are going places again. In parts of the first half we looked really good against the best defence in the league. The second half was a graft to watch. We looked like we’d ran out of ideas going forward. Iraola is the man but for all the improvement, too many players are letting us down when it matters most. Nyoni can hold his head up again though. Some talent, him.

A game of moments. Arsenal took their chance whilst we squandered ours. We’ve paid the price yet again for stupid passes out from the back. Macca has to do better on that header but ultimately it’s not good enough to not have a single shot on target at Anfield. Gutted.
