Expect bridge lifts for Fleet Week arrivals in the next 30 minutes, beginning with the Broadway, then Steel, and finally the Burnside. We are expecting 6 ships so there will be multiple lifts of each bridge over the next 2-3 hours.

The first visiting ship for Fleet Week is about 45 minutes from arriving at the Seawall adjacent to the Rose Festival Fun Center. Expect the Broadway Bridge to lift in approximately 30 minutes, to be followed by the Steel Bridge, then the Burnside Bridge.

On March 17, the @MultCo Board approved 3 cost-saving measures for the #EarthquakeReadyBurnside Bridge project intended to make it more likely a new bridge will be funded and built. The measures trim about $200M from the project cost. Details at: multco.us/multnomah-county/n…
