SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios. The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios. Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said. Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior. Read my latest for Axios here: axios.com/2026/10/22/ai-agen…

Let's try running a Bitcoin Core-powered signer in your browser. A real Linux system, right inside a webpage. Try this on a laptop/pc: thunderden.com

Fulcrum es ahora entre 4-10 veces más rápido para sincronizar una billetera de inicio. Si ya era rápido, imagina ahora.

Parece que la gente en España está siendo mas consciente acerca de cómo comprar Hardware wallets.
We ship across Europe, with locker delivery available in as many countries as possible. But here's the weird part: Spanish Bitcoiners are BY FAR our biggest customer base outside France. So what's going on in Spain? Are Spanish Bitcoiners simply more based than the rest of Europe? Did some Spanish influencers secretly become our unpaid marketing department? Could Spain be the last country in Europe with a functioning Chad population? 🇪🇸😂

Imagine someone gives you a lock and tells you it's the safest lock in the world. You ask how they designed it. They say, "We picked some special numbers. Trust us." Now imagine that someone is the NSA. That's essentially what happened with some of the elliptic curves standardized by NIST. These mathematical curves are used to secure digital communications, and some contained mysterious numbers whose origins nobody could explain. For decades, cryptographers wondered whether those numbers had been deliberately chosen to hide a secret weakness. Then Claude investigated and found something remarkable: the mysterious seeds apparently came from an ordinary 1990s random-number generator initialized using a computer's clock. No evidence of a secret mathematical trap. Just surprisingly mundane mathematics. Now here's where Bitcoin gets interesting. Out of paranoia, Satoshi chose a different, not widely used curve, secp256k1, with an extraordinarily simple equation: y² = x³ + 7 No mysterious seed needed to explain its shape, just a 7. We don't know whether that motivated Satoshi's choice, but it illustrates something fundamental about Bitcoin. Security shouldn't depend on trusting the people who designed the system. Even if the NSA never intended anything malicious, asking where those numbers came from was absolutely the right question. Because the goal of cryptography isn't to prove that everyone is trustworthy. It's to build systems where they don't have to be. Don't trust. Verify.

Every so often a tweet comes from bitcoin twitter that makes me feel like a complete moron. This is definitely one of those.
