Here’s the thing: We all knew this was coming. The Vikings were going to blitz Daniel Jones until he proved he could overcome it. The Colts appeared to have nothing prepared for this. I don’t believe they threw one screen in the 1st half. Protection adjustments were awful.

If you trace it all back, it’s actually signing Phillip Rivers in March 2020. Colts hold the 14th pick in a draft with Burrow, Tua, Herbert & Love, but now choose to build a “win now” team. Trade a 1st for Buckner, trade another 1st (16th) + 3rd for Wentz, trying to keep win.
