Here’s the problem with me: if I give you a job / assignment & you execute, you have won me over. If you make careless and willful mistakes (notice the plural and willful), it is nearly impossible to ever get back onto any of my projects. Now there’s this guy that I really liked but after a while, he willfully made mistakes & caused us problems. Now he’s back begging. I actually could have used him right now, but I don’t trust him. There are many like him. Guys, it doesn’t matter what — do your job well. Exceed expectations, even. That stuff compounds. I also make mistakes, I am not perfect, and I need second and third or even fourth chances, but some people, eh!

if uganda were to host an f1 grand prix: first, some guys would ask stefano domenicali for like ugx 2 billion just to arrange a meetin' with vincent banange they'd go and buy the exact land where the proposed circuit would be built, announce the project, inflate the land value tenfold, and sell it to the government at a handsome profit then they'd ask stefano how much they'd earn from each f1 ticket sold, before askin' how much they'd earn from the parkin', the hotels, the merchandise, and the ugandan flag they'd put on the circuit's logo the promo video would feature kampala ladies showin' fat ass and talkin' about how they've a crush on lewis hamilton not a single shot of the actual circuit, but 4 million views and a government press release hailin' it as a global marketin' success on day 1, influencers who, of course, have no idea what f1 is would be told there's no budget to pay 'em but a pico with oscar piastri would give 'em enough exposure to last a lifetime the organizers, meanwhile, would be drivin' brand-new land cruisers bought under the publicity budget all mps would demand vip access, the males would each bring their wife, two side chicks from mubs and ucu, and kiddos the main wife has never seen the vip lounge would need its own vip lounge, and the caterin' budget would be classified info there'd be bars and pork joints just outside the circuit perimeter, with a boda stage, momo agents, and a guy sellin' rolexes right next to the paddock construction of the actual track would start 5 years after they broke ground, because the 1st contractor would disappear, the 2nd would sue the government and the 3rd would be appointed after campaign season by then, the original budget would've tripled, the completion date would've been revised 6 times, and somebody would be explainin' on television how the delays are actually a sign of progress when the fia finally asks for the circuit to be inspected, a committee would be formed to study the feasibility of appointin' another committee to investigate why the first committee never submitted its report and 15 years later, the incomplete circuit would be turned into a patriotism trainin' camp

Recently, several commentators on social media have expressed concern about the continued public presence of His Majesty Omukama Edward Rukidi Nyabongo I, particularly his attendance at events, engagements with the people of Tooro, and meetings with visitors. Some have even advised that he should withdraw from frequent public engagements and appear only on rare occasions, often comparing his leadership style with that of monarchs in other kingdoms. With due respect, I believe such arguments overlook a fundamental aspect of Tooro’s history, culture and the expectations our people have of their King. The formation of Tooro Kingdom began around 1822–1826, culminating in its establishment in 1830 under Rukirabasaija Omukama Kaboyo Omuhundwangeye Kasusunkwanzi Olimi I, the first Omukama of Tooro. The movement that led to Tooro’s separation from Bunyoro-Kitara was rooted in dissatisfaction with the leadership of Omukama Nyamutukura Kyebambe III, the then ruler of Bunyoro-Kitara. Among the grievances traditionally associated with that separation was the desire for a leader who was accessible to his people. The people wanted a King they could reach, a King who would listen to their concerns, a King who would be present in their lives and a King whose leadership they could experience directly. Accessibility is therefore not merely a personal leadership style, it is an important part of the cultural expectation that Tooro places upon its King. This expectation is beautifully reflected in the second verse of the Tooro Kingdom Anthem: “Okulema kwawe kurungi, abanaku obakwatiira, abahabire obahabura, kituli kinobera abeemi.” The verse celebrates good leadership, compassion for the poor, guidance for those who have lost their way, and the strength of a leader who stands for his people. How can a King effectively listen to his people, comfort them, guide them and understand their concerns if he deliberately distances himself from them? A King cannot fully embody these values by remaining perpetually behind palace walls. To the people of Tooro, our Omukama is not simply a distant ruler seated upon a throne. He is our revered cultural leader, a source of unity, a symbol of continuity and a trusted presence in moments of joy, sorrow, uncertainty and celebration. He is a leader to whom his people look for guidance and reassurance. Our King is not expected to be a stranger to his people. He is expected to be among them. This does not mean that a King should have no privacy, personal time, or carefully managed schedule. Every leader deserves those things. Neither does it mean that every public engagement must be attended. Rather, it means that we should not mistake a King’s accessibility for a weakness, nor should we import expectations from other monarchies without considering the unique history and cultural values of our own. Different kingdoms have different traditions, histories and expectations. What works for one monarchy cannot automatically become the standard by which another must be judged. For us in Tooro, the continued presence of our King among his people is something to cherish. It is an opportunity to strengthen the bond between the throne and the people, preserve our cultural identity and ensure that the institution of the Omukama remains connected to the community it represents. Your Majesty, thank you for continuing to engage with your people, attend Kingdom functions, receive visitors and remain present in the life of Tooro. May your reign continue to be characterised by accessibility, humility, compassion and a deep commitment to the people whose cultural heritage you embody. Olemereho Agutamba! Hangiriza Omwebingwa! Long live His Majesty Omukama Edward Rukidi Nyabongo I! Long live Tooro Kingdom!

Education is not a visa to leave village life. It is a tool to improve it. If you still have enough land and have access to it, utilise it.

I don't think you need a truck at this stage. If you get the 83m, you can invest in production and marketing then keep hiring trucks. Share a contact where I can drop your 5k.
I have 33.2k followers on X. If half of you people gave me 5k each, I would have enough capital for my ghee business. 33,200 ÷ 2 = 16,600 16,600 x 5,000 = 83,000,000. 83M would buy us a track for delivery and the balance would be invested in to marketing. But ya'll are waiting for me to die so you can send condolences of 100M😭

Two years after graduating from campus and this is the work I deliver for farmers. All I needed was one person who believed in me enough to give me my first project. Now I don’t have to look for work, work looks for me.
