We have some updates on Novagen NFTs.
What’s happening?
There are 34 Novagen NFTs stuck in a Trade Hold indefinitely. If you placed a bid on one of these NFTs, your money is lost in escrow. If you accepted the bid, you have lost the NFT.
Why?
These NFTs are stuck because when you accept an Origin Byte collection bid, the item goes into a Trade Hold and must be claimed. However, since the kiosks where these NFTs were minted are unshared, there is no way for the kiosk to be claimed.
What should you do if you are affected?
If you own one of the 34 Novagen NFTs that are permanently stuck, you need to reach out to Novagen to receive compensation. Join the Novagen Discord to request compensation if you own one of the affected NFTs. Their Discord link is here: discord.gg/tKXy7NFe
What is TradePort doing?
TradePort will enable a pop-up for the owners of Novagen NFTs stuck in an unshared kiosk, requiring them to migrate their Novagen(s) to a shared kiosk before accessing the rest of TradePort.
TradePort will hide listings that are still in unshared kiosks since they cannot be purchased.
TradePort will disable collection bidding due to the errors it has caused and may continue to cause.
