Fresh off the back of the 2s' first win of the season, the club heads into another busy weekend with four more chances to score runs, take wickets, and completely ignore whatever the captain's Plan A was. Thank you to this week's Match Ball Sponsor, Ian Leask 👏

🏏 Weekend Round-Up | Sponsored by Capstones Consulting 🏏 A mixed bag of results for New Bradwell this weekend, featuring a debut century, a dramatic comeback win, five ducks, and enough cramp to keep the physio busy until Tuesday.

🏏 WEEKEND FIXTURES 🏏 Another big weekend for the mighty New Bradwell… or at the very least another weekend of people claiming they “definitely edged that.” 👀 This week’s match ball sponsor is Capstones Co!

The winning moment from Saturday's exciting game at home to Wellingborough Indians. What a game! 🏏🫣

Sharp work from the Skipper on Saturday! 🧤🏏

🏏 Weekend Round-Up: 2 Wins, 2 Losses… at least we’re balanced?! 🤷 ❤️ Saturday 1st XI WIN 😬 Saturday 2nd XI LOSS 🤦‍♂️ Sunday 1st XI LOSS 🏆 Sunday 2nd XI WIN – Steve Dart Memorial Match A massive thank you to Pete Cook, our fabulous treasurer, for sponsoring the match balls!

🏏Week 5 Fixtures🏏 After last weekend’s brilliant 3 wins from 4, team morale is high, our confidence is growing, and several players have already started checking the league table far too often. A special shoutout to this weekend’s match ball sponsor, club treasurer Pete Cook

📷 Sunday 1st XI: Srikiran Valluripalli (2/14 off 3) and Santosh Ballary (3/22 off 4). With a revised target of 157, the pair returned with the bat to both notch their first 50s of the season - Sri smashing 72 and Santosh 58 - helping chase it down with 3 overs to spare.

📷 Saturday 2nd XI: Priyadarshi Gourav bagged his first 50 of the season *and* 3 wickets because apparently one achievement wasn’t enough. Will Richardson’s valuable 30 helped post a respectable total, while Amit Chauhan announced himself in style with 3 wickets in his debut game

📷 Saturday 1st XI: Andy Overton bounced back from last week’s duck with a classy 55. Will Smith chipped in with 37 to steady the ship, before the bowlers absolutely went to work. Dan Thompson (3/11 off 3) and David Perkins (3/28) led the charge, alongside SIX maiden overs.

We go again 🏏🏏

Oops 😬 Less said the better 😂🏏 Onto the next one 👊

Team sheets are out for the weekend 🏏 After last week, morale is somewhere between “we go again” and “just don’t lose too many balls in the bushes.” 🫣 Fresh week, fresh chances, and a strong belief that this is definitely the week the catches stick and the runs flow 🏏

Big weekend incoming for New Bradwell CC 🏏 We go again this week…aiming for fewer ducks and a few more runs on the board! 👀 Huge shoutout to our match ball sponsors Jessica & James McMillan!

First full weekend. Four games. Four losses. Impeccable consistency, just… not the kind you brag about. 😅 Many thanks to Ron Ghose for sponsoring the match balls this weekend!
