It seems pretty simple. You trot Doeren out again after this year he’s going to have to make changes. I still can’t believe we green lit this Eliot hire, but I’m assuming it was a move to free up $ for whatever reason.
Like we said on the pod, ignoring the UVA game, this team can win if they avoid bad decision making. Should be 4-1, but really being 1-1 in conference at this point was the most reasonable outcome preseason. Take care of wake and really it’s meaningless what happened at vandy

Herb's boys pimping for him? Expect him to be on the move this cycle....
Really not sure how we survived without him.
Thinking back to my time at PC and what an incredible staff I had. Stu Jackson, Herb Sendek, Gordon Chiesa, Bill Donlon, and Jeff Van Gundy. Herb, humble & hungry. Head Coach of Miami of Ohio for 3 years 63-26 (NCAA appearance-round of 32), NC State 191 -132 (5 straight NCAA appearances), ASU 159 -137 with two appearances in the NCAA, round of 32 and 64. Now 186-127 at Santa Clara. Amazing career for an amazing person!!
That wasn’t stressful at all he says after burning a stress walking line into the carpet. Great win!
It’s a brand new year, hop on board and help NIL close the gap!

Good to see these additions on defense. I feel like in this era defenses with a pulse are going to make a difference as offensive skill players seemingly are spreading out more across middle tier teams than in the past.
I would note ND has suffered some insane losses over the last few years so yes on paper they should cake walk but they’ve also lost to NiU, Marshall, Stanford, etc as I’d assume double digit favorites last few years.
It is wild that the men’s soccer team is in the final four. I remember covering soccer at the technician for a bit, the trajectory from then to now is simply awesome.
I think 7-5 was where a lot of folks landed pre-season but as usual not the chalk way to get there. What an exclamation point to end on.
