Before I ever ran for office, I served as Mayor Hal Daub's chief of staff and economic development director. One of the projects we worked on was the West Dodge Expressway, which West Omaha drivers still use every day. Big projects take vision and years of planning and follow-through — and those are the kinds of results I want to deliver for NE-02 in Congress.
Senator Ricketts received suspicious packages last week, now Senator Fischer, and our comments are showing an increasingly threatening tone.
These kinds of things should never be normalized. While conversations can get heated or debates get fiery, at the end of the day we are all still Nebraskans.
Violent threats and intimidation should never be the default.

Let's not get this twisted, @chrisbackemeyer is a long time DC insider, that moved back to Nebraska because he thought the voters wouldn't notice. (Yet, all that time in DC, he still couldn't spell his name right on his fundraising emails...?)
