We're thrilled to be partnering with @_typicalfriends @garbagefriends for a garbage giveaway!
A steaming pile of trash has been dumped on the shores of @LykeIsland and we’re looking for 10 islanders to become Garbage Collectors and help clean up 🗑️
That's not all...
We will also be running a seminar in the near future at #GarbageUniversity, where we will be creating some seriously hot trash!
Join Lyke Island artists @AshleyBest @BMCANNINGS @DannyRanno as we create a custom garbage themed plot (2D & 3D versions). We'll be sharing the process from beginning to end!

To meme the impossible meme 🎶
To fight the unbeatable foe 🧌
To bear with unbearable sorrow 😭
To run where the brave dare not go💨
To right, the un-rightable rong 😑
To ♥️ pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary 😮💨
To reach the unreachable ⭐️
This is my quest, to follow that 💫
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far 😢
To fight for the right without question or pause 🦾
To be willing to march into 😈 for a 😇 cause
And I know if I'll only be true to this glorious quest ⚔️
That my ♥️ will lie ✌️ful and 🧘
When I'm laid to rest 🪦
And 🌎 will be better for this

Ralph Nader, you are lying – shame on you! I personally provided almost all Tesla funding, based on my proceeds from PayPal, from Series A in 2004 until Series C in 2007.
In late 2008, I gave Tesla the last money I had. It was that or the company would have died. We closed that funding round at 6pm on Christmas Eve.
If we had not closed that round, Tesla would have gone bankrupt 2 days after Christmas. I gave my last money thinking Tesla would probably still die, not thinking that it would be lucrative.
The first meaningful government funding Tesla received was in Q2 2010 from a loan under the vehicle efficiency lending program. Tesla paid back that loan early with interest. Taxpayers actually made a profit.

There's a debate in the Meme Cards discord about how many artist collectors are getting allowlisted and whether they are committed to the community.
I offered to run the data, @punk6529 said yes. The data was analyzed and the following results were found.

If you're investing in an asset with a long term target, stick to it, it happens or it doesn't. Be careful adding more variables thinking you can time the market in between. A large majority of us are guilty of this mistake, I included.
Let this person's sacrifice be a lesson.

1/ On How Short Life Is
A few years ago, I was walking around in a blizzard in SoHo (New York). It was late, midnight, and it was beautiful.
Some friends, about 15 blocks away, called: "come over?"
It was late, it was cold, was tired, thought "maybe not worth it" but then...

JP Morgan bought student loan startup Frank for $175M in 2021, thinking they had 4M customers. In reality: customers were fake.
The big story we should be talking about is how devs at the startup refused to generate fake students… so CEO Charlie Javice had to outsource this.
ALT Frank’s chief growth officer Olivier Amar is also named in the JP Morgan complaint. It alleges that Javice and Amar first asked a top engineer at Frank to create the fake customer list; when he refused, Javice approached “a data science professor at a New York City area college” to help. Using data from some individuals who’d already started using Frank, he created 4.265 million fake customer accounts—for which Javice paid him $18,000—and had it validated by a third-party vendor at her direction, JP Morgan alleges. The complaint includes screenshots of the professor’s invoices and claims that Javice went to notable lengths to ensure documentation of this work was either destroyed or altered to avoid raising eyebrows. Amar, meanwhile, spent $105,000 buying a separate data set of 4.5 million students from the firm ASL Marketing, per the complaint. Amar and ASL Marketing did not yet respond to a request for comment.

So the four gathered up their courage and followed the orange orb into the cave. But much to everyone's dismay, the orb disappeared and they reached a dead end. Sad and disappointed, the four decided to take a rest for the night inside the cave.
What should they do next? 🧐
