This Shabbat is a special day and always precedes the Passover Holiday. The Jewish people were commanded to select their Passover sacrifice on this day, initiating the Exodus process. It is an important Holiday which promotes continuity from generation to generation.

Dear Colleagues and Friends, World and domestic events overwhelm us during the week. Now it's time to rest, relax and to put it all behind you. My wish for each of you is the tranquility we get from Shabbat. Have a great Shabbos ahead! Norm

Dear Colleagues and Friends, Shabbos is upon us and soon it will be time to set aside the mundane and focus on the rest we need to re-energize for next week. To each of you and your loved ones, have a great Shabbos -- Shabbat Shalom! Norm

The Sun-Sentinel/Jewish Journal included my latest book "Fundraising Insights for Nonprofits" as part of their roundup of choice books they reviewed in January. I am honored to be part of this lineup and happy to share with you the link to this story.

We have arrived again. Getting ready for another special Shabbat when we usher in the month of Adar, the month we celebrate Purim. Unfortunately, we live in times, when just like Mordechai and Esther, there is unprecedented antisemitism around us.

We are deeply grateful that there are no captives in Gaza, first time since 2014. We also thank those who made the ultimate sacrifice on our behalf. May Ran Gvili now rest in peace, returned to the homeland where he belongs. Best wishes for a peaceful and safe Shabbos ahead --

It's a secret not always shared, but some nonprofit fundraisers actually have a fear of asking donors for gifts. Hard to believe, but it happens. I address this issue in a story titled "Overcoming the Fear of Asking."
