For your future guidance, the answer to everything the Tories do or don’t do can be found below: a) Sheer incompetence. b)They thought it would save money, but it will cost more long term. c) They were leant upon by donors & thought it best to take a risk & not upset the donors. – at North West, England

Every day you are told to believe this ridiculous lie. That 'growth' caused by INCREASING the price of things, while freezing wages so their 'profits' increase. Is somehow going to help you. No it's harming you, and it should be really obvious.

The 50 wealthiest families own more wealth than the poorest 34 *million* people. The problem is not a pensioner or a young person looking for a job - the problem is wealth inequality. We need a wealth tax. Now.

Of the £431 billion projected benefits bill, 50% goes on State Pensions. 1/3rd of the rest goes to people in work. Totally disgusting for the S*n to use the term ‘shirkers’ to attempt to divide people.

Who in the name of all things holy decided that it’s imperative that we “get the welfare bill down? The UK welfare bill is projected at £360+ billion (around 10.7% to 11% of GDP), remaining lower as a proportion of national income than it was 15 years ago or during the 1980s.

£10,000,000,000 billion to Ukraine in the budget. On top of £3,000,000,000 bn every year "for as long as it takes" That's on top of £25,000,000,000 bn already given to Zelensky. Remember when our media laid an egg because Corbyn wanted free school dinners for all £700m.

I guess Ukraine must have some really shockingly high energy bills, given they got given £10,000,000,000 from a country that can’t look after its own citizens properly?

The Tories used to bang on about “student politics” and here is Kemi Badenoch doing a piss poor juvenile stand-up routine with the smugness turned up to 11, despite having nothing to be smug about.

Corporate greed is Microsoft making $134 billion in profits last year, receiving $19 billion in tax breaks under Trump, paying a lower federal income tax rate than a nurse and getting rid of 60,000 workers. “Corporations will create jobs if they get tax breaks” is a total scam.

Just so we’re all on the same page. We don’t want people on minimum wage wages going up. Is that right? Got you. Does that mean we also don’t want anyone else’s wages going up? And last question when outside things like Brexit, wars, Trumps tariffs, shortages, energy price increases etc make products and services more expensive……. We still don’t want wages to go up? Sorry I’m new to this, I’m still trying to figure out how it all works

The fact that financial markets are reacting poorly to Lula’s victory is a sure sign that markets are not some amorphous intelligence but simply a bunch of right wing traders who follow the herd. We forget that at our peril.
