Listen guys! I have a brilliant idea! I was listening to The Newsagents podcast today. Apparently anyone can join the @TheGreenParty, attend their conference and get a vote. It fact it is EVEN better than that. You don't have to go to Brighton and hang out with the insufferable antisemites! We can get an online ticket for £40 & vote online!
It's not like CLPs where you have to be elected to be Conference Reps. I say we get a few thousand Jewish people to go to join before next year and propose the motion Zionism is Awesome! We can totes make that Green Party Policy! Who's in???

The Green Party member, Lubna Speitan, behind the “Zionism is racism” motion is close friends with an al-Qaeda terrorist who plotted to bomb passengers landing at Heathrow from Israel.
It can now be revealed that Ms Speitan offered to testify in the defence of Minh Quang Pham, jailed in the US for a plot to detonate a backpack filled with shrapnel dipped in rat poison in the airport arrivals lounge.

Today’s vote at the Green Party Conference crosses a line and is rightly being condemned across the political spectrum.

To even have a HOPE of pretending your motion isn’t antisemitic, you accept this amendment. Obviously.
It was instead rejected twice. First in a pre-conference meeting on amendments, then by party members in the hall.
This is now what the Green Party is.
