IMO undergrad & much of grad psychology relies on SPSS too much. Quicker intro/better competence in the use of an abacus: • develop deeper understand of stats • equip for more advanced stats + modeling • helps stats training be more broadly applicable

I need some help! Have a variable where subs can choose mult counties they’ve visited so response is numeric 1, 5, 7 where the numbers correspond to diff countries. Would like data to look like: country_1 = 1; country_3 = 5 etc. Is there a spread variable function? #RStats

I love basketball. Especially the stats e.g., Oliver's Four Factors, team metrics correlated w/ winning games (effective field goal %, turnover %, off web %, free-throw rate). Using #RStats, I graphed each regions factors and their opponent's factors.

TL;DR, basketball data is fantastic for practicing #RStats although prediction for this data may be rendered useless by a cinderella team 🤷🏿‍♂️
