🚨 New program alert! 🚨
We’re so excited to be partnering with NOLA Artist Incubator this month to present Budding Artists, a weekly art and early literacy program designed for 2-5 year olds and their caregivers.
Every Thursday in March, this nature-inspired workshop lets little gardeners get their hands dirty, experiment with materials, and learn about the earth around them.
Registration is required and space is limited! Details here: nolalibrary.co/buddingartist… 🌿
Valentine’s Day is a week away and we’re feeling the love that went into creating this sweet project at Latter & Hubbell Libraries!
Staff at these two locations handpicked their favorite romance novels to share with readers for our favorite kind of blind date –– with a book 💘
Blind Dates with a Book will be up at both Library locations through next week, and Latter’s will be up through the end of the month. But, if you ~love~ this idea as much as we do, maybe we’ll convince them to keep it up for longer…
Congrats to to those that guessed Delia Owens’ “Where the Crawdads Sing” as our top book of 2022! Originally released in 2018, this coming-of-age murder mystery was adapted into a movie last summer, shining the spotlight on the already popular best-seller.
The numbers are in! These were our top nine checked out books of 2022.
What do you think our most popular book was?? Tune in Monday to find out and leave your guesses in the comments!
