Pages of the Glorious Qur’ān today Tuesday 27/10/26, Sūrah Fātir (35): 4-18, tafakkur verse 35: 18 Theme: Engage in personal accountability; assess your sincerity, and remember your journey back to Allāh وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةࣱ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰۚ وَإِن تَدۡعُ مُثۡقَلَةٌ إِلَىٰ حِمۡلِهَا لَا یُحۡمَلۡ مِنۡهُ شَیۡءࣱ وَلَوۡ كَانَ ذَا قُرۡبَىٰۤۗ إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ ٱلَّذِینَ یَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَأَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۚ وَمَن تَزَكَّىٰ فَإِنَّمَا یَتَزَكَّىٰ لِنَفۡسِهِۦۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمَصِیرُ “No bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily burdened soul calls another to carry some of its burden, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and establish prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for the benefit of his soul. And to Allāh is the final destination.” LESSONS: 1. No one will bear the sins of another on the Day of Judgment. Every individual is responsible for their choices and actions. Family ties, friendships, social status, and worldly influence cannot replace personal accountability before Allah. 2. The verse emphasises that even the closest relative cannot carry another person's burden. Love and family support are valuable, but they cannot exempt anyone from divine judgment. We should therefore guide our loved ones towards righteousness rather than assume that our relationship with them guarantees salvation. 3. In this verse, Allah praises those who fear their Lord in the unseen. Genuine righteousness is not merely about public religious appearances; it is about remaining conscious of Allah when nobody is watching. Our private conduct should reflect the faith we profess publicly. 4. Allah mentions the establishment of prayer alongside the consciousness about Him. Ṣalāh is not merely a ritual to be performed mechanically; it is a fundamental expression of submission, discipline, and devotion. A believer should strive to establish it consistently and allow its lessons to shape their character. 5. When we purify our hearts from arrogance, envy, hypocrisy, and other spiritual diseases, the benefit ultimately returns to us. Our righteousness does not increase Allāh's greatness, nor does our disobedience diminish it. Since our final destination is Allāh, we should prepare for that meeting through sincere faith, righteous deeds, and continual repentance. O Allāh, Lord of all creation, grant us sincere faith and make us conscious of You in private and in public. Help us establish Ṣalāh faithfully, purify our hearts from every spiritual disease, and take responsibility for our deeds. Protect us from false hopes based on our relationships, status, or worldly achievements. Guide our families and loved ones to righteousness, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us a beautiful return to You. Āmīn, Yā Rabb al-ʿĀlamīn. May we remember that our relationships may support us in this world, but it is our faith, sincerity, and deeds that matter in our accountability before Allāh.

This is a language of terrorism. @PoliceNG must investigate this and help ensure that this kind of evil ideology does not spread any further. These boys are supposed to be a part of the Hisbah police if my guess is right. If they are trained with this evil ideology, then, we would never see the end of terrorism in the country. If this has been going on for long, then, it partly explains why terrorism has lasted till now. If it is not stopped, then, we are in for a long painful ride. May Allah protect us all. Āmīn. Pages of the Glorious Qur’ān today Monday 26/10/26, Sūrah Saba'i (34): 40-54 and Fātir (35): 1-3, tafakkur verse 34: 43 وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَیۡهِمۡ ءَایَـٰتُنَا بَیِّنَـٰتࣲ قَالُوا۟ مَا هَـٰذَاۤ إِلَّا رَجُلࣱ یُرِیدُ أَن یَصُدَّكُمۡ عَمَّا كَانَ یَعۡبُدُ ءَابَاۤؤُكُمۡ وَقَالُوا۟ مَا هَـٰذَاۤ إِلَّاۤ إِفۡكࣱ مُّفۡتَرࣰىۚ وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلۡحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاۤءَهُمۡ إِنۡ هَـٰذَاۤ إِلَّا سِحۡرࣱ مُّبِینࣱ "And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, they say, This is not but a man who wishes to avert you from that which your fathers were worshipping. And they say, This is not except a lie invented. And those who disbelieve say of the truth when it has come to them, This is not but obvious magic." LESSONS: 1. Clear evidence does not guarantee that those whose hearts are blocked from the truth will accept it. Hence, even when Allah’s revelations are recited with clarity, those who are determined to reject them may refuse to believe. Therefore, we must pray for people's guidance and admonish them with gentility and wisdom. 2. One of the major reasons Allah revealed the Qur'ān is to guide humankind back to the basis, the foundation i.e. Tawḥīd. This is because blind adherence to ancestral traditions has become an obstacle to guidance for many people. Following the beliefs and practices of our forefathers without examining their validity can prevent us from recognising the truth. Thus, tradition must be assessed against divine guidance. 3. As a form of resistance to the truth, Shaytan teaches people to sometimes discredit the messenger instead of addressing the message. By accusing the Messenger of Allah of seeking to turn people away from their ancestral worship or making slaves to the Arabs, the rejectors attempted to undermine his credibility rather than engage with the truth he conveyed. 4. False accusations are often used to resist uncomfortable truths. Describing the Qur’ān as an invented lie was an attempt to dismiss its divine origin without providing a valid argument. This teaches us to distinguish genuine criticism from baseless allegations. 5. The truth may be labelled with false and misleading descriptions. Calling the Qur’ān obvious magic illustrates how prejudice can distort people's judgement. The rejection of a message by its opponents does not invalidate its truth; what matters is the strength of the evidence. O Allah, guide us to recognise the truth and grant us the sincerity to follow it. Protect us from arrogance, blind imitation, and the temptation to reject guidance because it challenges our inherited beliefs. Make us among those who listen to Your revelations with humility, reflect upon them with understanding, and act upon them with conviction. Āmīn.
