The biggest change I’ve made in the last year is to shift my filters. I give zero weight to external voices. None. BUT I still make 50 versions of a line before coming back to the first because I wasn’t sure it felt right. The filter is internal, I choose what is good enough.

This is probably the best game of basketball I’ve ever seen. #welcometothew

Toot toot! Playing at Crafty Cow Tosa tomorrow night as part of Midweek Music presented by the great folks at @milwaukeerecord 🎶🐮🍻 Sorry, no tubas.

Says a lot about an artist when they ghost while other acts on the bill haven’t even performed yet 👻

Fool me once, etc. I have fucked up the same song on 2 recorded performances, 2 years from each other, making the kind of mistakes I made 8 years ago but haven’t done since… outside of this song. I will never play “Begin Again” when a set is recorded. Too many fucking words.

It’s #BandcampFriday y’all. I know I’m filling my virtual cart with music that I’ve had my eyes/ears on. And when Bandcamp waives their fees and more 💰goes directly to the artists, it’s a good day to buy some music. (Also please buy my stuff too 🫣) nextpaperbackhero.bandcamp.c…

Opening the September edition of State of Sound for @88NineMKE on 9/7 🎶 Can’t wait to share my tunes on the studio stage — it’s going to be a good one 🌊🌊🌊 📸@sahanicyouth eventbrite.com/e/88nine-pres…

A new level of locker room hell: Someone boisterously whistling along to AC/DC 😑

There’s not much higher praise than a quote like “The album affects you.” Thanks again to @ScummyWater for the beautiful review: scummywatertower.com/reviews…

“Saucy Nuggs” has to be one of the least appetizing word combinations ever.

If you read through the two questions and find yourself confused, remember that is by design and you are not alone. This lays out some details for you. You can also just play the Dr. Evil line “How bout noooooooooooooo” in your head and vote ‘no’

Not a capybara but I’ll do my best @LanWilbury

Every time I hear the word “illegals” in these so-called political “ads” (aka propaganda) makes me want to vomit. Truly disgusting.

This review fills my heart… it’s possibly the best intro to Next Paperback Hero and the new record 🌊🌊🌊 Thank you so much @ScummyWater 🙏
