For #MusicMonday and #VeteransDay, hear the famous "Second Connecticut March", aka the "Second Regiment Connecticut National Guard March", recorded #OnThisDay way back in 1902.

#OnThisDay in 1915, this duet asked, "What's the use of going home (When there's nobody there to love)"!

#MusicMonday

ALT Lightly scratched record label for 'What's the use of going home (when there's nobody there to love)'.

ALT Against a background drawing of a city skyline with lights and signs: a drawing of a young gent dressed to the nines, in top hat, white tie, spats, and cane, plus a monocle in his eye and a flower in his buttonhole. So fancy! Above him is the song title: "What's the use of going home (when there's nobody there to love)".

Change, our only constant! An evergreen jingle for #MusicMonday with this "jaunty complaint about the latest lifestyle changes"
For #MusicMonday, how about a little early-20th century culture shock?
"You'd Never Know That Old Home Town of Mine", recorded #OnThisDay in 1915, is a jaunty complaint about the latest lifestyle changes--instead of horses, they drive newfangled cars!
