From a local, @ClayLaSoul wrote an excellent piece on what this team and trophy mean to the city sixonefivesoccer.com/in-2026…

Miami still haven’t beaten a playoff team since July 22nd Keep telling me how they’re gonna “flip the switch” tho

2026 Supporters’ Shield winners

FT: Supporter’s Shield winners It’s less of a high than Open Cup and more of a testament to the consistent joy and brilliance throughout the season Columbus at home Orlando 5-0 CLT, Atlanta, Red Bull away LAFC at home Iconic memories. And a trophy to cement them

HT: Montréal took some notes from San Jose. Pressing high and Nashville can’t play through. A worrying trend before the playoffs It has to be better in the midfield. Yazbek still hasn’t found his pre-injury form 60% possession and 5 touches in the box

Unfortunately this disgusting lineup is destined for a 1-1 draw MLS parity plot armor

Clear eyes. Full lineup. Can’t lose Montréal is starting a 17 year old GK with seemingly 0 professional minutes against this Nashville SC team. Idk what Canada’s labor laws are but that should be illegal No Owusu or Neal. Alexis Sanchez starts. A terrible lineup for a bad team

Where to watch the game?

It has been 1,247 days since Nashville’s last loss in the US Open Cup

The Open Cup deserves fanbases who care Very happy with whoever takes it home tonight

Will Mackay has been called up to a goal keeper camp with the USYNT He will almost certainly get an MLS contract this winter. But a Nashville keeper may have to leave for him to stay
