Thirty years ago today, Class 411 1617 and Class 421 1719 were at Hastings with the 1711 Hastings to Victoria and 1554 Brighton to Hastings respectively.

ALT 3 trains are pictured, All in Network Southeast red white and blue livery. They are parked in a row, at the depot at Reading. The middle train has a white cab roof. the weather is cloudy but sunny.

Further to yesterday's picture of 96507 at Waterloo on the Waterloo & City Line here's Class 482 482509 at Bank station on April 9th 1994 in Network Southeast livery. The units and infrastructure had transferred over to London Underground a week earlier at the cost of one pound.

Just done the Railtour around Kent from Victoria and back and it was very successful all round and cleared some rare track as well as speeding through some stations at line speed you wouldn’t usually speed through, Canterbury East, Faversham and Gillingham to name a few but it was a great experience 🔴🔵⚪️
