Two of our own teamed up at #ACCT2026 today! 👏 NSHE Board of Regents Vice Chair @cgdelcarlo and @WNCnevada President Kyle Dalpe presented "The Yin and Yang of Executive Leadership" at the ACCT @CCTrustees Leadership Congress. Their session explored how leaders can sustain energy, focus, and well-being while building healthier cultures for employees and students. We're proud to see them sharing their experience and perspectives with community college leaders from across the country!

From taking classes to building campuses. 🚧🎓 Meet Branden Brumble, a dedicated project manager at CORE Construction and proud @unlv graduate. Starting his journey as a civil engineering major at UNLV, Brumble climbed the ranks to becoming a graduate and CORE manager. Now, he's clocking in to work on the same campus that led him to that very job. Board of Regents Chair @scbgoodman, Vice Chair @cgdelcarlo, and Chancellor @MattMcNair_NSHE continued their series of campus listening sessions at @NevadaStateU. The conversation spanned a wide range of topics, including supporting the university’s rapid growth, clarifying institutional roles, addressing students' basic needs, access to transportation, and the role of AI on campus. Participants also highlighted the work Nevada State is already doing to serve its students and community and the opportunities ahead. The visit was another chance to hear directly from the people who experience our institutions every day. Thank you to President @SRichtermeyer and everyone at Nevada State for taking the time to be part of the conversation! We’re looking forward to hearing from more campus communities across the system.

First stop on the listening tour: CSN! 🐺 Chair @scbgoodman, Vice Chair @cgdelcarlo, and Chancellor @MattMcNair_NSHE kicked off a series of campus listening sessions at @CSNCoyote. CSN students, faculty and staff shared their perspectives on the issues that matter most to them, including state investment in higher education, institution roles, employee compensation and benefits, student access and support services, and the role of AI on campus. They also highlighted the work CSN is already doing to serve Southern Nevada and the opportunities ahead. These conversations will help inform NSHE's priorities moving forward. Thank you to everyone at CSN who took the time to be part of the conversation! We're looking forward to hearing from more campus communities across the system.
