I don't like calling this shit out directly, but at this point, I have to.
This one goddamn tweet helped spread so much misinformation about Rebirth.
2.21 MILLION was PEAK DAILY ACTIVE PLAYERS, NOT SALES. And the 91% drop? That was second-week PHYSICAL sales in JAPAN, not worldwide sales.
Resident Evil Requiem (RE9) had roughly an 85% drop in those same Japanese physical charts. So I guess that game sucks too? I can go tit for tat with this logic all day.
And Resonance peaked at roughly 43K concurrent Steam players. Does that mean it only sold 43K copies? See how ridiculous that sounds?
Over TWO MILLION daily active players at launch is a massive number.
I'm sick of seeing sales figures and player counts misrepresented, spread like wildfire, and used to fuel endless bullshit debates.
