🚨A STATEMENT FROM THE FORENSIC ROOM: Last night, during a livestream that has already reached more than 70,000 people, Melanie Little made serious and completely false accusations against the five women of The Forensic Room, claiming that we have doxxed, harassed, and targeted her. She didn’t just make false accusations against us. She singled out five women and encouraged her audience to dig into our personal lives. That is targeting, and it raises serious concerns about our privacy and safety. Let us be absolutely clear: We have NEVER doxxed Melanie Little, threatened her, encouraged anyone to harass her, or engaged in any campaign against her. We are five women who host a YouTube show discussing publicly available information, court proceedings, testimony, and evidence. We do not take our discussions offline to target, intimidate, or harass anyone. We have been outspoken in our support of John O’Keefe’s family and the witnesses in the Karen Read case. We make no apologies for that support, and we will not be bullied into silence because of it. We find it particularly disturbing that someone with such a large platform would broadcast these accusations to an enormous audience without providing evidence to substantiate them. Statements like these can have real-world consequences, particularly when they expose private individuals to unwanted attention, hostility, and harassment. Disagreement is not harassment. Supporting witnesses is not doxxing. And exercising our right to speak publicly is not intimidation. We will continue to stand by the people we support, discuss the facts, and exercise our right to free speech. We will not be intimidated. We will not be silenced. And we will not allow false accusations to go unanswered. — The Forensic Room @MamaLama43 @JulieCar94 @TheSpiciestLRQ @theginnyjamz @TuesdayGazette

Really good piece grappling with what will be Mike Love's complicated (at best) legacy
I wrote about the grim spectacle of the final Beach Boys performances and the impending death of Mike Love: ianjgrant.com/p/summers-gone

You all deserve some sort of journalism award. It doesn't matter if you're credentialed (though it does for those who are careless, attention seekers) ... the work you all have done is what is taught at universities. Great work.

Hi there @BradlLawPC !! I noticed your below tweet and I would like to call your attention to a deposition given by your client, Aidan Kearney, on August 20th of this year. During that deposition, your client established that he is neither a journalist nor does he follow any journalistic protocols in his "reporting." He also answered the questions with provable falsehoods as I have curated an entire collection of statements he has made in the past two years wherein he has admitted he lied in both his written reporting as well as on his YouTube "presentations". Apparently, your moronic client did not realize the extent to which his answers would damage his position in both his civil and criminal cases because upon reviewing his own answers he added the ill advised "Boom. Roasted." commentary. Quite the dipshit move there, Timmy.

Made a phone call to Jad Tariq this week, who Dylan fans will recognize as one of the cool dudes playing guitar with the band this summer. He’s got his own new record out today, the kind that makes clear why he got the gig. My interview here: ultimateclassicrock.com/jad-…

Can some one explain to me why Coach KC Jones is not in the @Hoophall ????? It’s criminal.
After the Celtics took Game 7 of the 1984 NBA Finals, both Pat Riley and Larry Bird made it clear that K.C. Jones was the real difference-maker. Pat Riley: "The Celtics are the better team. Their talent is equal to ours, but K.C. did things that put the emphasis on aggressiveness... It was brilliant coaching, and I salute K.C. for finding a way to let Boston's strong points compensate for a lack of team speed." Larry Bird: "K.C. made the big move, taking me out in the third quarter so Kevin McHale and Cedric Maxwell could work down low. That's when we broke it open... If anybody doubted K.C. was tough enough to handle us at the start, we're all believers now. To be honest, the Lakers should have swept the series."

There are only 3 men on the Clancy jury. Given what we saw in the Read case, Reddington should have NEVER revealed the gender of the juror. NEVER. We know exactly what these loons will do. Think twice before you volunteer to be a witness or juror in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. You could become a target.

It is shameful that @nytimes @TheAthletic buried the fact that the biggest punishment in NBA history was the result of an investigation by journalist @PabloTorre. And to call it the result of a "podcast episode" is a further slap in the face. He won a Pulitzer for this story and they call it an "episode" instead of, at the outset -- crediting him with exposing this scandal. Really really lame.

🚨NEW: Jennifer McCabe, Brian Albert, Colin Albert and Brian Higgins v. Karen Read & Aidan Kearney Defamation and conspiracy to commit defamation civil lawsuit new filing: PLAINTIFFS' OPPOSITION TO DEFENDANT AIDAN KEARNEY'S MOTION FOR RECONSIDERATION: “Plaintiffs have subpoenaed @adamdeitch in this action because, upon information and belief, the alleged conspiracy included an effort to manipulate and, ultimately, compromise Deitch and then to use the existence of a federal investigation as a pretext to falsely accuse Plaintiffs of being responsible for O'Keefe's death." 🔗dropbox.com/scl/fi/v816domme…

Many of you are asking how you can help me. My only ask is this: Spread the word about the threats to democracy and how we can fight back. Tell everyone to subscribe to Democracy Docket and share its content. demdock.com/4wbp1va
