One of the men who won the Nobel Prize for Chemistry last year was a Palestinian-American, Omar Yaghi. Racist POS.
RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Novel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

“One of the problems we’re having in America is that there are a lot of people who are still under the if-but-for Netanyahu fantasy” Ta-Nehisi Coates on the inherent racism of Zionism. From the powerful conversation between Coates, Tareq Baconi and Nesrine Malik last week.

While I was learning Chinese, we used to love the Confucius Institute because they'd give us free text books so we didn't have to buy them from the university. I remember in my city, the Confucius Institute had native Chinese speaking volunteers who could help with our study, and practice chatting and so on. When it was time for Chinese exams, which are super difficult for native English speakers, they'd do their best to help us go over our class material etc. Absolutely invaluable. Sometimes we could also take classes making dumplings and traditional fans and other arts. It was fun because you could learn new Chinese words and phrases at the same time. And I can tell you this: never once was politics brought up, let alone anything else apart from our study. Seeing that the US has classified Confucius Institutes as a national security risk literally made me laugh out loud. Honestly, what is up with the US and why are they adament on accelerating their own descent so freaking quickly? We've always known that the West, especially the US-led West, was declining, but I could never have guessed it would happen this fast, and it would be completely and utterly at their own hand. The US is scared of shadows, and it's freaking hilarious. 🤣
The War Department has designated Confucius Institutes as a threat to our national security.

Just ban it completely. Korea also their own navigation apps. If we looked into gaza war, israel using waze and starlink to espionage and pinpoint bombing on hamas targets.
The government has banned all civil servants from using Waze with immediate effect. Ministry secretaries-general and department heads were instructed to communicate the ban across all levels for full compliance.

Anwar Ibrahim urged citizens to avoid Waze, citing data security concerns over the Israel-founded app and its access to users’ movement data. "Penggunaan aplikasi tempatan TuJu, yang dibangunkan oleh LLM, digalakkan sebagai alternatif," said the prime minister, noting that Waze is subject to Israeli government laws. 🧵 1

See these two men? They are Marcus Harvey and Tre Jones from Marion, Indiana. They should be all over the news but they’re not. A few days ago they saw a house fully engulfed in flames with people still inside so they kicked in the front door and risked their own lives to save the occupants inside. None of the occupants would still be alive if it wasn’t for them. Neither one gave a second thought about anybody’s color, they just did what was right. These are the heroes that the media won’t show you.

Jason Alexander says he feared visiting Palestine as a Jew until 10 Palestinians protected him during an Israeli army raid in Ramallah “How much of a risk would I be taking as an American Jew walking into Palestinian cities? And Mohammed said, ‘The greatest dishonor that could happen to a religious Muslim is to allow harm to come to an invited guest’” “And he said, ‘Jason, if they had to, they’ll take a bullet for you.’ And what was so interesting about that trip is, we were having lunch in Ramallah with a bunch of actors and artists at a sort of outdoor restaurant” “And the Israeli army was conducting a raid on a bank that they thought had terrorist ties a couple blocks away. And they must have, to announce themselves, just shot into the air. And I remember 10 of those guys at the table surrounding me. And I went, ‘Oh my God, he wasn’t kidding. They’re not going to let me get hurt’”

In August 1969, twenty-two-year-old Melanie Safka sat in her mother’s car on the way to what she thought was a small festival. Then she saw a helicopter and a hillside covered in people. She had arrived at Woodstock. Melanie wasn’t even scheduled to perform. Her label had sent her with no guaranteed place on the bill. Backstage she waited alone in a small tent. Her nerves became so intense that she developed a violent cough and feared she might not be able to sing. Joan Baez noticed and sent over tea and honey. When rain hit the stage and another act refused to play, the organizers turned to the unknown young woman in the tent. Melanie walked out alone with her guitar. No band, no backup. She sat on a metal folding chair and began to sing. Members of the Hog Farm had been handing out candles. As she performed, first a few flames appeared, then hundreds, then thousands. The muddy hillside filled with light. The sight stayed with her. She wrote “Lay Down (Candles in the Rain).” It became a Top Ten hit and helped start a tradition that later became phone lights at concerts. The industry still didn’t know where to put her. Too gentle for rock, too independent for the image they wanted. She left Columbia when they tried to reshape her and resisted being packaged as the “cute hippie girl.” In 1971 she and her husband founded Neighborhood Records, making her one of the first women to own an independent rock label. Her first release on her own terms was “Brand New Key.” It reached number one and sold more than three million copies. She continued recording for decades, released more than thirty albums, remained popular in Europe, and performed into her seventies. Melanie Safka died on January 23, 2024, at seventy-six, still working on her thirty-second album. After her death her children asked fans to light a candle in her memory. On that night in 1969 she had been a frightened twenty-two-year-old with no guaranteed slot and a cough that threatened her voice. She walked out anyway. People have been holding up their lights ever since.

They will tell you that we teach our children to hate them. In truth, who can love, like, or even tolerate these demons?
Palestinian children scream and cry as Israeli settlers brutally beat their father before their eyes, leaving them terrified and helpless.

these are the "persecuted Jews" you've been been brainwashed into believing were peaceful, innocent, victims. in fact, they are jewish supremacist demons who've been trampling and pilfering our lives, our land, our labor, our heritage, our very souls. don't you dare talk to me about moderating my language. I never again want to hear a word about jewish trauma or jewish feelings. It's not enough that a small percentage of Jews are actually decent, caring human beings. It's just not enough. call me whatever you want. I literally cannot bear this anguish I feel for our people forced to live under the sadistic boots of these fucking parasites who've sucked our blood dry.

In late 2019 a man in Michigan paid $70 for a worn couch from a thrift store. Howard Kirby was looking for an inexpensive living room set. His house was in poor condition and the roof was leaking so badly it needed an expensive replacement he could not afford. For several weeks the unusually firm cushion never became comfortable. Eventually he unzipped the cover. Instead of old foam he found thick bundles of hundred-dollar bills. Hidden inside was $43,170 in cash, the forgotten savings of a man who had already died. Lawyers confirmed that because he had bought the couch outright, the money legally belonged to him. No one was likely to come looking for it. Kirby could see the stacks of cash and at the same time look up at his leaking ceiling. Still he said, “It wasn’t mine.” He returned to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore and asked them to help find the family who had donated the couch. They found Kim Fauth-Newberry. The couch had belonged to her late grandfather, who had quietly hidden his life savings inside the cushions. After his death the family had donated the furniture without realizing the money was still there. Kirby met the family and returned every dollar. Once word of his honesty spread, local contractors learned that the man who had just given away more than $43,000 was living under a badly damaged roof. A roofing company donated all the materials and labor to replace it at no cost. Neighbors also organized a fundraiser for some of his other expenses. Kirby had every legal right to keep the money. Keeping it would have made his life much easier. He chose not to, simply because he knew it was never his to keep. It was a quiet choice to do what he believed was right when no one was there to make him.
