In 1982, Lebanon stood at a historic crossroads. A window opened for peace with Israel; an agreement that could have spared generations of Lebanese from war, instability, and foreign domination. But that moment was lost, not because the people didn’t want peace, but because our nation was shackled by external influences, sectarian divisions, and the dominance of militias and agendas that did not serve the interests of Lebanon.
Today, in 2025, we are once again facing a similar moment; one that is perhaps even more urgent, and potentially more transformative. Lebanon is exhausted. Our people are drained by economic collapse, political paralysis, and a loss of national sovereignty. We cannot afford to miss this opportunity like we did in 1982.
PEACE is not submission. Peace is strength. It is sovereignty. It is the reclaiming of our national dignity. Contrary to what some may fear-monger, Israel does not have territorial ambitions in Lebanon. There are no designs to occupy, no desire to control. Israel seeks security and normal relations, just as we seek stability and the freedom to build a prosperous future.
A peace accord between Lebanon and Israel (under a framework that respects our unique identity and historical role in the region) would not be a betrayal. It would be an act of national liberation. It would be a #CedarAccords: rooted in our own history, our own values, and our own interests.
Let us not let fear or outdated ideologies rob our children of the future they deserve. We must rise above the narratives of the past, and embrace the promise of a new dawn.
The door to peace is open; this time, let us walk through it.

As the world gets invaded by Islamo-leftists, Mount Lebanon remains the only place we should be focusing on, to liberate and rebuild.

The Syrian refugee situation in Mount Lebanon is no longer merely a humanitarian or economic crisis. It raises serious questions about the security and safety of Mount Lebanon's people, the future of its indigenous communities, and the demographic changes taking place across the region.
Our young men and women are being forced to leave their towns and villages because of deteriorating economic and living conditions. Meanwhile, the demographic and social composition of these areas is changing. Our young people are struggling to start families and build a future, while the refugee crisis continues without a clear policy to regulate it or address its long-term consequences.
We are witnessing a silent process of demographic replacement in Mount Lebanon.
Meanwhile, Lebanon's borders continue to witness illegal crossings through smuggling routes and networks, allegedly facilitated by influential actors and political forces benefiting from this reality, foremost among them the terrorist organization Hezbollah.
The Syrian refugee crisis has also become a source of financial and political interests, involving politicians and international organizations whose funding structures and interests are tied to the continued presence of refugees in Lebanon.
Any country hosting large numbers of refugees needs capable security institutions, effective oversight, and equal enforcement of the law. Crimes must be investigated and perpetrators held accountable without exception. Security concerns must never become a forbidden subject or something that people are discouraged from discussing.
We are not speaking out of hatred towards any people or individual. We are defending the right of Mount Lebanon's communities to security and stability, and their right to preserve their land, identity, and future.
The right to seek refuge does not mean the absence of law. Humanitarian considerations must not come at the expense of the security and rights of host communities.
Mount Lebanon is not a land without a people, and the future of its inhabitants is not a detail that can be ignored.

When someone says SHLOMO
you can simply reply BSHAINO ܒܫܝܢܐ,
or BSHAINO W BA-SHLOMO ܒܫܝܢܐ ܘܒܫܠܡܐ
or even with SHLOMO again ܫܠܡܐ.
Or here we’re giving it a little Maronite twist for a Syriac Maronite language/dialect:
SHLOM LOKH for a man
SHLOM LEKHI for a woman
And as we mentioned yesterday, we pronounce the yodh at the end of the feminine conjugation in a Maronite dialect.
SHLOM LEKHUN for plural
Short on both e and u.
SHLOM LEKHEN for women

If the West keeps looking the other way on Muslim immigration, we’re going to end up with new Islamic countries inside Europe and the Americas. Don’t be shocked if Sweden splits into a Muslim Sweden and a non-Muslim Sweden, same with France, even Canada. Keep the immigration coming and keep your birth rates this low, and that future is locked in. You may not even get to keep a country of your own.

#MountLebanon Explained
The Maronites of Mount Lebanon stand at the center of a history that the Lebanese Republic never honestly told. That republic was founded on historical errors. It did not embrace the pluralism of its time, and it imposed an Arab identity on non-Arab indigenous peoples once the Maronites lost power.
The identity of the Maronite people is the child of a church born in Mount Lebanon: Syriac in culture, Lebanese in entity. Arabization, which advanced after joining the Arab League, brought foreign issues into the land and left most Maronites confused about their true cause and their true history.
What the Maronite people need is a project of salvation. That project must come from outside the republic’s party system, because those parties are bound by the republic’s constitution and laws.
Mount Lebanon is a peaceful movement. It creates historical awareness. It demands self-determination for the Maronite nation, a nation that has governed itself since 685, when Mar Yuhanna Marun was elected patriarch and first ruler, forming the first true Lebanese entity.
After the Mamluk and Ottoman invasions came layers of occupation: cultural, military, ideological, and even at the level of faith, including Islamo-leftist distortions. Liberation is therefore a duty, on the cultural level, the faith level, and the land level, so that Maronites can govern their land again.
Two projects carry that work: the #Maalto project, the return of the Maronites to their homeland, and the #Ulpano project, which revives and teaches the modernized Syriac Maronite language.
For those who are interested in our projects or have questions, questions are welcome to be answered. But we do not debate politically here with anybody. If you are interested, you can choose one of these projects and offer your help to make it happen, whether it is the return of the Maronite people, the Maalto, or secondly the Ulpano project, teaching a modernized Syriac Maronite language.
Partisan, political, or doctrinal arguments are not welcome. Time is precious.

Shlomo, aikano itaiken?

Maaloula is only a few kilometers away, and its living language is a form of Aramaic. Nobody seriously disputes that. The claim that Mount Lebanon (the Maronite Nation) never spoke at least a form of Aramaic is absurd.
In the nation we Maronites are rebuilding, that language will be called Syriac Maronite, a modern form of Kthobonoyo. Language names are sociological; they rest on history and politics more than pure science, and Syriac Maronite is the name that fits once we properly understand our history.
You cannot seriously argue whether the Maronites spoke Syriac without understanding Maronite history and culture, both liturgically and nationally. Get over it.
