It's been an historically remarkable weekend as British Columbia elects its first conservative government since 2013.

Only 48% of BC voters supported the BC Conservatives, yet the voting system has handed Lorne Doerkson's Conservatives 69% of the seats and 100% of the power. fairvote.ca/25/10/2026/bc-co…

Thank you @DavidEby and his family for the sacrifices of public life. The demands of leadership extend far beyond the job itself, and your family has shared in that commitment. Congrats to @LDoerkson on this next chapter of serving the people of BC.

Congratulations to all the successful and newly elected BC MLAs, their families and supporters last night and to Lorne Doerksen, the premier-elect. An incredibly tough night for the NDP and a lot of outstanding MLAs were defeated. The first decision, snap election, was decisive.

How surreal it is to see John Rustad (who was unceremoniously tossed as leader) commenting on the BC Election #bcpoli

I'm heading to CTV studios to watch (and provide brilliant insights) into the BC election tonight. Polling say it's a narrow path for the Orange Team - and the Conservatives to lose. But polling + BC voters = bananas. Tune in tonight - hand counting at Elections BC - tuck in!

If you're wondering who is behind those Jagmeet Singh duffel bag ads on here, know that it's part of a multi-billion dollar scam empire being run out of Eastern European call centers. It's an absolutely massive problem and Canada is a priority target. cbc.ca/news/ukraine-call-cen…

There's a *ton* of BS in the Cons costing but maybe the biggest is a $2B/year cut to contingencies. Healthcare caseload growth is by far the biggest use of contingencies. So if they're cutting contingencies, they're cutting healthcare.
