It sucks you had the misfortune of playing vs the clock captain! People who only watched the stream but haven't watched him play in person don't know the half of it, hopefully action is taken swiftly.
was reading about #RCStuttgart today and everyone's talking about templar.. I was then thinking why I'm literally reading about my exact experience at SGRQ and ofcourse.. lo and behold MY OPPONENT WAS TEMPLAR~ he took 2-4mins with u guys? yo he took 5-7mins w me slayyy~ BAN pls.

This is not a unique experience to have with that specific jayce player, he is well known in the melbourne/OCE scene for slow playing. It is so bad people drop from skirmishes after seeing them sign up to the registrations 👍

This is a very long post and vent about #RCStuttgart. Tournament starts, I’m nervous but also excited. Though I do wish I had played Jayce for event. Anyway, round one I get paired against Jayce and I’m on kaisa. During game one, I feel like my opponent is taking a really long time on his turns. I start watching the clock and confirm he’s taking around 2 to 4 minutes per turn. I ask him to please play faster. Another 3 or so minutes go by and nothing changes, so I call a judge over and ask if he can watch the pace of play. He says he can. I’m still watching the clock during my opponent’s turns and he’s continuing to take 2 to 4 minutes. I look over at the judge and make a hand gesture like “what’s going on?” He assures me he’s watching and then walks around the table and sits beside my opponent. During game one, the judge tells my opponent on two separate occasions to make a play. I assume these are warnings. Eventually my opponent gets to 5 points and has the Garbage Grabber recycle Dragons setup. I concede with around 5 minutes left on the clock to try and get another game in. We also have about a 13 minute time extension. Game two starts and my opponent is still playing slowly. The judge tells him to make a play, and he tanks for another minute before finally doing so. Another 10 minutes go by and our extra time is almost up. The judge tells my opponent to make a play for the FOURTH time. At this point I’m getting really upset because I’m having to play my own turns in 30 seconds to a minute just to have a chance at finishing the game. I see a red shirt judge (head judge) and ask if I can speak with him away from the table. The blue shirt judge follows us. I explain what’s been happening and even confirm with the blue shirt judge that my opponent has been taking 2 to 4 minute turns and has been told to make a play four different times. I ask the head judge, isn’t this a PRO REL event? Aren’t the rules for this supposed to be more strict? He confirms that it is and explains that a third warning for the same infraction results in a game loss. Then the blue shirt judge says he hasn’t actually issued my opponent any warnings. He’s just been telling him to play faster. I’m genuinely upset at this point because I feel like I’m being robbed of my tournament. I ask how someone can take 2 to 4 minutes per turn, be told to make a play FOUR separate times, and somehow not receive a single warning? They tell me they’ll discuss it and ask me to return to the table. I go back, and the blue shirt judge eventually comes over and issues my opponent a warning. We end up going to turns and I lose the match, even though I’ve banished two of his Dragons and feel like I’m very likely to win that game if we have enough time. I’m honestly just sad and upset. I explain to the head judge how I feel like I’ve been robbed of a match at the biggest event of the year. To his credit, the head judge was great. He listened to my frustration, understood where I was coming from, and explained that there wasn’t really anything he could do at that point but he would talk to other judges about this. He let me take a walk to try and cool off and gave me a time extension for my next round. Unfortunately, even after walking around, I’m still pretty upset. I play poorly in round two and lose. Whatever. On to round three. Round three is a super close match, but a great one. Then round four comes around and I’m playing against Riven. My opponent wins game one. Game two comes down to him needing to ready with Astral Heron at base to win. I cast Piercing Light, dealing 4 damage to my own unit and 4 to his Heron. It resolves. I then cast Decree of Rage to deal another 4 damage to Heron. He responds with Decree of Focus to give it +4 Might. I cast Thousand Tailed Watcher and point at his Heron. He tells me it survives at 1. Now, this part is my fault. For whatever reason, I thought green Decree gave +5 Might like blue Decree/Punch. 1/3

This is as much for myself as it is for everyone else playing today. This is the biggest event I’ve ever played in when it comes to how much money is on the line. I know a lot of us have put a ton of hours into prepping for this event. You’re playing against some of the best players in the world, yourself included. We all earned our spot, be proud of that. Try not to tie your self worth to your results. I know that’s easier said than done. Sometimes you’ll get bad hands, bad matchups, or maybe it’s just not your day. That’s a part of TCGs. Just play the best you can with what you’re given. Good luck today ❤️ #RCStuttgart

Hear me out. Next time, let’s all collectively not say a damn thing about how much we want a thing. So scalpers think there’s no market and don’t buy. Because WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!? Riot, please, do something (is anything even possible?) to get this product in to the hands of people who DONT want it to resell. This is disgusting. So many genuine wanters have missed out and will keep missing out.
fuck off man

I felt so humbled at the Melbourne Showdown to A) be recognised, B) be complimented for my casting and C) asked several times if I'll be casting again in the future. I'll never take my opportunities for granted, I'll never assume I've got the job until the contracts are signed, so I'll say this; I would absolutely love to cast OCE Showdowns, I would absolutely love to cast RQ NZ and I would LOVE to cast SEAPAC's first ever Riftbound Continental in my own hometown of Melbourne! I can't wait to see what the future holds!

As you've written here and without knowing what the judges have done in ther internal investigation. You have admitted to telling the nasus player that their best of contender has lost and therefore confirmed him as best of winner if he draws.
Riftbound Melbourne Showdown Unfortunately I did not win the best of poppy in the showdown even tho I was the best of poppy on the day and they took it away from me. Story time. Going into day 2 of the showdown in Melbourne I was 2nd in the hunt for the best of poppy I went and found most of the poppy’s that where in contention and wished them best of luck. When the day finished I checked the results and I was on top and went and celebrated with my friends. Last game of the day I played against the other poppy ( let’s say poppy 2)that was in contention and next to me was the another poppy ( let’s say poppy 3)as well that was in contention. I won 2-0 so I’m pretty much on top. The other ( poppy 3) player was versing a nasus which he was in contention for the best of Nasus. After we finished all 4 of us we where kinda chatting along and watching the game while the 2 where playing( nasus vs poppy)The Nasus player asked the poppy(3) “are you in contention” which she stated I don’t think so cause this guy won(me)and he is above me. I replied to Poppy(3) saying actually you were above me before this game started I’m second. After their game 2 ( 1-1) the nasus player asked in general hey has the other nasus won which I said “ I think he lost “. They finished their game and the result was a draw. After the game I said to all the poppy’s good efforts it was a tight race. And left the table The poppy(3)that drew to the Nasus started crying and complaining to the judges that the Nasus slow played on purpose so he can win the best off. ( meanwhile they draw so both didint get it). After that didint work she stated that I convinced the Nasus to try harder and play and win so poppy(3) doesn’t get the best off poppy. After a while they called the Nasus player up on where the judges where sitting and asked him if he knew me which he stated “ no “. After a while the same head judge came and grabbed me and stated that what I did was wrong and they will give me a game loss and the poppy(3)a game win. After more back and forth another stuff member came ( was wearing purple shirt saying staff ) and told me that after talking to the head judges and all the parties they will give me a game loss and the Nasus a game loss too. Ps: I was not gonna make a big tweet about it until I heard the same person that “ won “ the best off poppy - poppy(3)saying to her friends “ im happy that I won it and the other guy is malding” Ps2: The same poppy tried to convince a riven player in round 7 to concede which he refused. PS3: The same poppy player was friends with a lot of judges and head judges and they were celebrating when she won her round 8 matchup against a LILLIA. PS4: During my last mirror matchup I had consistently a judge sitting watching our game and also I had a judge come and check my sideboard and not check the opponent’s sideboard poppy(2).( if I’m not mistaken that judge was friends with the Poppy(3)as well ) Ps5: The Poppy(2) that I defeated towards the end asked the head judges “ I get that you gave him a game loss but why did you give the Nasus a game loss too ?” And the same head judge replied “it’s done now and you can email UVS if you have a complaint but i have been judge for 10 years and nothing happens” Anyways just wanted to share that information because we can’t have competitive players and judges being good friends makes everything so tricky and unfair. I never refused saying to the nasus player “ I think the other nasus lost”.

Whether your information was correct, or done with malice or not doesn't matter. You have given him incentive to not play the game to completion and instead to drag it out for a tie and best of nasus.

Is this not assisting another player by giving them outside information and adding in colluding against the other attendees who are playing without this extra knowledge?

Deadlock’s biggest strength is its character design, but so far none of its cast is truly original. Rat King, really? A rat in New York? What about a gorilla? He could be super smart and from the moon, with a short range toggle Tesla cannon, and a dome shield to counter aoe slop.
I feel like Danny would be so much less frustrating to fight if his jetpack was more like a leap He could jump into the air then do a big aoe where he lands, and maybe his ult would have him getting really angry…and he could be a gorilla from the moon…that would be amazing…
