#DYK the fur of snowshoe hares varies in colour depending on the season? In spring, summer and fall, their coat is light to dark brown. In winter, their coat turns white. These colour changes allow snowshoe hares to blend in with their surroundings, depending on the season. 🐰

Did you know? We circulated a pledge to all candidates urging them to take action for nature. Of the 200+ candidates running, 52 have taken our pledge and said YES to protecting 30% of NB by 2030, updating outdated laws, and creating new Indigenous Protected Areas. Thank you!
