People that make over confident mistakes arent experienced gun owners. People who cant recognize that an open and unloaded action renders a firearm entirely safe from all direction arent either.

the 4 basic rules are over simplified and meant for children and adults who have never handled a firearm in their life. Needlessly applying them to arguably safe situations only makes you out to be the token those rules are for or a weenie. There is no inbetween.

The people crying about "muzzle discipline" or whatever will appendix carry without one ounce of irony.
Wow yeah dude someone needs to get these amateurs who don't understand gun safety off of the range, their muzzles are pointing right at the spectator who came to watch them shoot at the Olympics!

Fun fact. Clay shooting shotguns are very VERY custom. So custom that everything about them is tailored to their owner Here's one of the ways that a clay shooting shotgun is tailored to their new owner 馃憞

If you think anything in these pictures is unsafe, you're ignorant. But if you post nonsense suggesting you know more than the world's best shooters, you're stupid.
Replying to @NaviGoBoom
Perhaps you should read up on the rules of gun safety, and frankly so should the shooters in that picture.

These amateurs look like they need some gun safety 101 from an real internet gun safety expert

Gun safety 101, never point a gun at someone. Loaded or not, even a break action. There is no excuse.

People in the replies must have difficulty going to the hardware store if empty pipes upset them that much

There isn鈥檛 a shooting range in the world that wouldn鈥檛 ban someone for doing this. He is more concerned about a cool selfie instead of gun safety

Broken-open over under barrels constantly sweep the crowd, competitors, judges, camera crew, range staff, etc. It's almost like when you're not clinically fucking stupid and know how guns work, you realize this isn't a safety issue. Wild stuff.

There's a lot of 4s and 5s in the comments. It's stunning how bad some people's spatial awareness is.

A lot of this is probably also the whole performative gun ownership thing of pretending not to understand anything about how guns work so as to make everything out to be a safety violation, but its all so stupid.

This is an airsoft gun btw. 1. Holds dust cover up when charging to hide hop-up 2. Short charge handle pull 3. Nubbed airsoft nag 4. Hole in AR buffer 5. Sopmod stock for batteries 6. Non-milspec Hammer clearly visable Get bent.

Despite many Auto 5 "collectors" and "experts" claiming that the 4-shot Auto 5s are fake, I've finally located original FN (and distributor) documentation advertising them. It's pretty amazing that there are so many rare variants of the Auto 5 that don't get talked about.
"If the Browning Auto 5 is so cool, how come they never made a Browning Auto 4?" The classy Browning Auto 4:

There's a few high grade models that are poorly documented (such as the Special for Pigeons), plus things like the Auto 4 and Superlightweights that weren't originally sold in the US, and as such get excluded from "collector's guides" and the like. Including Vanderlinden's book!

If someone described a shotgun as being a 1940s, SVT40-styled, tilting bolt delayed-blowback contraption, you probably wouldn't expect much performance from it. But the darn thing is actually kinda slick.

It's not frequent that my expectations of a shotgun are totally wrong, but the Bernardelli Automatico is a very nice surprise. It's got some reliability issues what with the box magazines, and it kicks like an inertia-operated gun, but it points like a dream.

On this 10/22 I would like to remind all of my loyal followers that the Ruger 10/22 is a piece of shit and the only reason people commonly accept 22 self-loading rifles as being unreliable is because we were all duped into using the garbage bin 10/22 as a standard of comparison.
