I grow jealous of any lips that whisper her name,
and of the gentle breeze that brushes past her.
I envy every eye that lingers on her beauty,
and even the moon, if it dares to shine for her in my stead.

Oh the heavens, so graceful you are,
my eyes saw him behind the sleep's bar.
