Wonderful day @Wimbledon today to see all the action on Court 1. Good to see @janniksin through to the semis, but sad to see @naomiosaka go out of the championship. It was 🔥🥵🔥# tennis #wimbledon

A lovely evening last night @StMichaelN6 listening to the music of ABBA, by candlelight. Very atmospheric.

Or, for the avoidance of all confusion: I'd like to thank C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien[±,] and my parents.

One of the best Roast lunch I have ever had was at The Red Lion & Sun in Highgate two weeks ago. Back again next week for a rerun!
The Red Lion & Sun in Highgate has just been named the 3rd best gastropub in the UK. With a Côte de Boeuf that feeds three and a wine list that’s better than most restaurants, we went to see if it’s truly London’s second best roast. #LondonFood #Highgate #SundayRoast #Gastropub #LondonPubs #CityAM

A very interesting post, Tim. I have been feeling that this is the case for some time now, but you’ve provided firm evidence that we really do have a problem!

Daphne was an amazing person. I got to know her much later, after she retired from the Foreign office and took up the post of Principal @SomervilleOx
She was once described as ‘the greatest woman intelligence officer in the world’ and was nicknamed the ‘Queen of Spies’! From briefing Jedburgh teams in WW2 to outsmarting the KGB in Moscow, she destroyed gender norms. This is the fearless 40-year career of Daphne Park: (🧵)

This is Cicely Delphine Williams. She was one of the first women to study medicine at Somerville College. She then undertook paediatric training at the South London Hospital for Women and Children, and in 1923 became the first female doctor from Jamaica. #IWD2025

Bravo Debbie Wosskow and the gang. A £250m fund to invest in women founders. This is huge for the future of #femaleentrepreneurship in the UK

I cannot think of a better person to be elected #Chancellor of @UniofOxford! She brings compassion, experience, future-thinking combined with a steely determination to ensure Oxford remains at the forefront of world education, but becomes more open and inclusive.
