Bruce Springsteen: “I’m speaking to election officials and representatives of our government on Election Day: You have sworn an oath to preserve, protect, and defend our Constitution. That means you have a solemn duty to ensure our votes are securely counted. Thomas Jefferson said government requires the consent of the governed. You who represent us must never consent to any directives that undermine our constitutional right to a free and fair election. Our vote is our voice and it’s up to you to ensure that our voice is heard”

Historically Britain's culture has never been static and Farage knows that - it has continuously evolved and been enriched through centuries of incoming migration which has influenced music, language, and daily life. Migration introduces new traditions, foods, arts and perspectives that broaden the national identity and make British society more dynamic and multicultural

For goodness sake, stop the claptrap !
It wasn't the "botched Brexit deal" which "put up frictions and barriers" - it was Brexit itself !
It's like leaving a gym, then complaining you've "botched" no longer being a member because you can't use the apparatus !

Exactly. Leave a customs union means you resurrect customs borders. The UK did so with 28 others. Leave a single market of regulations means you resurrect regulatory borders. The UK did so with 31 others. Thus adding both of these to those the UK already has with *all* the world's countries...
Customs & regulatory borders between different customs & different regulated territories are the hardest of "frictions" & barriers to trade & growth.
All Brexits were thus always going to fuck over & shrink the UK economy

"Powerslave" has three guitar solos, Dave Murray's slow, melodic one, then Adrian Smith, then Murray again.
Adrian left in 1990 and Janick Gers replaced him. When Adrian returned in 1999, Janick stayed, and Maiden became a three-guitar band.
Here's Adrian's solo, live in São Paulo last month, on Maiden's 50th-anniversary tour.

Trump: “I didn't marry my sister. I had two wonderful sisters — one is still with us. Elizabeth. She's wonderful. But I didn't — I never proposed to either of them. They're beautiful, but I never — I was never particularly attracted to either of them. That's not my thing.”
Well, there it is. Another great achievement for King Donald. He didn't marry his sister.
We urgently need to record this historic accomplishment as yet another cognitive test passed with flying colors. It deserves its rightful place alongside his legendary ability to identify a snake among camels and giraffes.
Meanwhile, Trump haters still think he's an idiot.
Such narrow-minded people.

🟡 Great to see that @CarolineVoaden is trending, despite it being about Farage’s thuggish behaviour towards her.

‘It's absolutely laughable... he was the one that grabbed me and pushed me out the way.’
Lib Dem MP Caroline Voaden addresses her ‘altercation’ with Nigel Farage, which he says led him to miss yesterday’s Budget.
