The Packers just are who they are. Talented, capable of being great, but incapable of avoiding the controllable mistakes that get you beat in the biggest of games. True through seven games. True how many years into the past?

In my 19 years covering the Packers on a daily basis, I've never written a blame-the-refs story. Yeah, I get it, the Packers beat themselves, too, but what happened at Ford Field was unaccepable, an embarrassment and, to quote Xavier McKinney, bullshit. ⬇️

Devonte Wyatt to @RobDemovsky:
"What if (St. Brown) would’ve got up and ran for a touchdown? Then everybody would be looking at D-Wy like, ‘You let him go’ ... I feel like the refs were on their side the whole day."
"If it wasn’t for the flags, we would’ve won that game."

The Packers are the most penalized team in the league, their rookie kicker can't consistently make kicks from under 35 yards, and the offense's red-zone woes remain glaring after falling short in Detroit.

Xavier McKinney is fed up. #Packers should continue speaking up. Today was a travesty.

I understand that you can't make every flag reviewable but NY needs to be able to get involved in those kinda situations
It's genuinely hard to believe how consistently bad NFL officiating is

Packers All-Pro safety Xavier McKinney unloads on the officiating. Have a listen. Says he’d rather get fined and try and help his team.

Xavier McKinney calls some of the officiating “bullshit.”
“We’re not seeing the same calls for our quarterback.”

Putting the refs to the side for a second...
We have to catch the fucking football
Jordan Love is playing out of his mind and his pass catchers let him down every single week

The most disgusting part of all of this is these refs will go home today and never have to answer for any of this
These refs cost teams games every single week and there is zero accountability

I still can’t believe we got to see Aman Ra kick an official in the dick and get a penalty called on the other team.

Aaron Rodgers during his postgame presser in Paris: “For a long time in Green Bay, we never got to go overseas because Lambeau was such an incredible home field advantage. Green Bay was never going to give up a game. Then finally we did in ’22. And I’ve enjoyed it. You know, I said it earlier this week: I wish we could have come over and enjoyed the sights both in Ireland and in France for a little more time. But it’s great the way the game is growing. And I feel like the fans were into it today, for sure. It probably helps there’s so many Pittsburgh fans, you know, kind of telling them when to cheer and stuff. Actually I saw a couple [No.] 12 Green Bay jerseys and threw the ball at the end, walking off the field, right to one of the guys who was in it. And he dropped it. So I’m not sure if he got it back. I hope he did. … I thought that’d be a cool souvenir for a fan. But I’ve enjoyed being part of the ex

"There's no way!"

The Packers can beat any team in the NFL and I’m excited to see how they play down the stretch.

#Packers lose to the NFL/Lions partnership 20-17. Garbage game. Refs literally took that game over. A total embarrassment for the league and fans should take notice. This league should not be trusted anymore. Too much of this across the whole league. Far past this game.

Seeing some doomers in our fanbase say our season is over while we’re ranked No.18 in the nation with a 6-2 record…
If you’re ready to cut and run on the Coogs this season you have the complete wrong outlook on where we are.
Houston has a lot of goals to meet this season. We’ve only lost to Tech due to a questionable spot on the 2 point conversion and to Utah with a banged up offense who will recover this bye week.
November 7th is homecoming against Cincy and the first official CFP poll will release the day after on Nov. 8. We’re projected to be a Top 15 team with a CFP at-large bid in reach.
Focus on going 1-0 every week and everything else will take care of itself. We faced adversity and now we respond both as the team on the field and the fans in the stands.
Houston went 4-8 in 2023 and 2024. If you told me we’d be a top team in the nation a few years later I’d call you a liar. Willie Fritz is pushing to give us our first consecutive seasons with double-digit wins in UH Football history. Not supporting this team because we lost to the now No. 6 team in the country would show us you have no loyalty.
Every win we stack builds to something greater for this program and the point is to be there for the ride and celebrate every milestone along the way.
Being a fan means supporting the team, not just the success. If you really want to see this team succeed, make that statement by continuing to support and rep the Coogs. That’s how we turn our games into an unbeatable home field environment.
