Found another $IREN Alberta breadcrumb 🇨🇦
IREN’s newest job posting from today explicitly mentions travel to:
“Prince George and other IREN sites in BC, and Alberta in future.”
Not proof of a new campus but another piece of the puzzle. 👀

Why $IREN in Alberta? The breadcrumbs are getting difficult to ignore.
• Mar 2025, IREN incorporates Blue ProjectCo Ltd. in Alberta
• Jun 2025, IREN reports Blue ProjectCo as a 100%-owned subsidiary
• IREN engages in AESO’s Large Load Integration process
• Nov 2025, IREN is selected as 1 of only 9 companies for AESO’s working group on large-load connections, BYOG & MW allocations
Companies don’t normally create local ProjectCos and engage directly with the grid operator on large-load allocation just for general market research.
My read…there is a meaningful probability that IREN is developing an Alberta data-center opportunity that has not yet been publicly disclosed.
