1/ This is just another form of unrecognized venous congestion that’s been there all along. Meanwhile, the misdirected quest to extinguish volume responsiveness and push forward flow to the limits goes on—that is if hemodynamics are thought of at all in the first place.

One thing we emphasized at the #KidneyWk #POCUS precourse: Beware of the Dunning-Kruger effect! We know the course gives you enough confidence to climb Mt. Stupid, but please don’t set up camp there! 🏕️ Keep scanning, keep learning, and stay curious!
