Do you know what trunk-based development (TBD) is? Do you use feature branches? Are you practising continuous integration?
I’ve been having fun the last few months, writing a report for @OReillyMedia on TBD and CI, and it was published this week!

There's a piece of advice that goes "If you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room."
While I don't want to detract from the message and insight it offers, also worth considering "If you're the smartest person in the room, you're wrong."

Being in a language with batteries included is so nice. You're catching a Python exception and would like to inspect it? There's a `traceback` module in the stdlib that can (for example) give you an exception's trace, with separate objects per line, with attributes like `lineno`.

Put out a new "fix" update for Plantera 2 and went to rest for a few hours. Came back and apparently the Helpers had been on strike for all players and refusing to work!

The good thing about having a talk to finish, is that now I've: cleaned out the fridge, taken out the bins, bought new hand soap and put the laundry on.

type level programming is immensely satisfying because of the immediate feedback. your language server becomes a REPL and errors are lifted to compile-time. uwu

If refactoring the code introduced bugs, there's only 2 possibilities; you didn't refactor or the bug was always there.
