Hayden Christensen was asked for his strangest fan encounter! He revealed that he once caught a burglar in his house! The burglar recognized him and apologized. - Christensen was on a phone call at home waiting for a friend when he heard the front door open and footsteps going upstairs. - He assumed it was his friend acting strangely and even playfully moved around a walk-around fireplace with the person before sitting back down. - When he went to "surprise" his friend, he found a stranger holding an armful of his belongings. He said "I'm like, is this a delivery guy?" he said. "And I look and I'm like, this is all my stuff." - The man immediately recognized him, apologized profusely, returned the items, and explained he had fallen on hard times and was trying to get money for a ticket home. - Christensen told him to come back the next day so he could drive him to the train station and buy the ticket; he also took him upstairs and gave him clothes and shoes (the man said he needed decent clothes to get a job). - The man never returned. - Christensen later joked to a crowd: "Please don't try to burglarize my house again.
