An important point. And so important it's made at the very top of the tree, contrary to the agitation and outrage promoted by many who should know better, have been informed of the data, but choose to ignore it.
HMCI: No causal link has been shown between exclusions and crime. There is a correlation – excluded children often have complex lives. But being excluded doesn't make a child pick up a knife or carry drugs. And banning exclusions won't solve wider societal issues #OfstedAR19
