So what exactly is an Anglican?
Fr. Chris Klukas, a candidate for bishop in the ACNA:
“Well, basically if you take a Baptist, a Presbyterian, and a Roman Catholic and you stick them into a blender and turn it on and mix it all up, that's kind of what we are as Anglicans.” #ADGL

People are really mad about this, but if you are in favor of open communion (all baptized persons) then you already share one bread and one body with us in the Episcopal Church.

Derek Jones didn’t undertake these abuses alone. He was enabled by multiple collaborators in the CoB including every successive Archbishop and Okoh of Nigeria. This ruling implicates all of them.

“The findings in this case are the bare bones of the environment this Court found within the SJAFC that promoted isolation, authoritarian submission, doubt, hopelessness, and deceit. The Respondent sought to force submission and wield power, rejecting Godly authority and inquiry in a manner that is as unlike Christ as one can imagine.”

Yup
Anglicanism should be the form of Christianity w the lowest bar to entry & the chillest vibe. IMO. Like you can be angsty if you’re an Anglican but you don’t have to be. You can have pronounced theological opinions but you can also not be sure of much more than the creeds.
“A Church that tells the truth becomes a Church capable of repentance. A Church capable of repentance becomes a Church capable of renewal. And a renewed Church becomes a more credible witness to the God of all Truth.” Talley Cross (Mid-Atlantic), link below. #ACNA

The Ven. Tara Jernigan, Archdeacon for the Southwest (ACNA): “Modern concerns and divisions often prevent us from sharing our priesthood so visibly with one another, but this should grieve us, not be used as a bludgeon to further divide us.”
What do we make of having multiple priests at the altar? Too many cooks in the kitchen? Or is it a chance to see more of the body of Christ?

ACNA News: The College has approved the election of an additional bishop for C4SO.
C4SO practices dual integrities on sexuality, allowing churches to welcome LGBT+ Christians to Communion.
This approval appears to repudiate critics who recently called for C4SO's “Discipline”.

“The Church can and must be a place where declarations of orthodox belief are not a substitute for Christ-like character and conduct. The Church can and must be a place where those called to the highest levels of leadership are willing to lay down their lives for those they serve, in humility—not to remain in power at their expense.” The Rev. Amanda Holm Rosengren, link below.
