I want to make a Maryland Women's basketball statement. We lost 5 players to the transfer portal and all five were picked up and will be playing next year. That speaks volumes of what coaches think of the players on our team. Even the ones that gets little to no playing time.
These last 10 days has been so boring. I'm glad the women's basketball recruitment Blackout is over today. Not hearing and getting current news about our Terps has made me spend my spare time on stupid sites. I'm looking forward to Brenda, performing her AI dance one more time.
The Mystics played NY today and held their own against one of the best in the league. A couple of defensive stops, or made outside shots and we could have won this game. As for gauge, this team's ability is measured off the charts. Just concentrate on the little mental errors.
After the bitter taste of defeat and an early end to the season, this one season ticket holder wishes to thank the Women's Basketball team on a remarkable season. It was a joy to support you and although I was critical at times, you gave us fans something to cheer for. C U 2026/7
I am too pissed to comment about this NC loss. There is so much fault to pass around but the biggest, regardless of what anyone would say is Coach's fault. Trusting and believing in the wrong players. No other top 20 coach would have keep Saylor and Yardon in the game beyond 3Q.
This message is for my Lady Terps. It's been an exciting start to the season with 17 wins. Then a very tough and disappointing outcome from the last 4 games, with at least 4 more touch games to play before Big Ten Tournament. Play through your adversity. Don't letup. Believe..
It's gut check time for our lady Terps. Each player should know their mistakes by now because each player has been consistent with them, throughout the first half of the season. Turnovers, bad shot selections, defensive lapse, poor free throws, miss layups. It's time to correct!
I am so mad about this Iowa loss. These last four games have me thinking about our game plan preparation, offensive and definitely defensively. Brenda must emphasize to Oluchi and Yardon about controlling their fouls. Oluchi needs to tone down her aggression. Yardon touch fouls.
If we are going to continue the turnovers and fouls (which we have not corrected since the season started) we have nothing to look forward to in Big Ten play because the Ohio State outcome is going to be the norm for us going forward, the rest of this year. That is the format.
I was so mad at how we played and coached this Ohio State game, I got up and left 4 minutes into the forth quarter. I brought four guest with me and paid that inflated price for those tickets just to see the worst game we played all year. Totally disappointed. Turnovers/fouls
Our bench players don't get much opportunities during these close games but when they do, they have to step up. Mir went 0-2 at the free throw line. Kyndal turns the ball over and can't shoot to warrant being in the game when it is critical. Marya is lost on the court. Ohio State
It was so much wrong with this Ohio St. loss that you can't pin point it to one area. No one mentioned how poor our low post players were. Offensive and defensively. Our guard play was horrible. Too many turnovers and couldn't stay in front of their guards. Poor shooting and FT's
Finals week and 8 day game break. Congratulations to Christina D, and good luck to the rest of the team on your final exams. I will see you from the stands, when Central Conn., comes to College Park. Great 12-0 run so far. With the injuries, the B1G schedule is going to be tough.
This needs to be a dominant win over an inferior opponent, to keep our position in the ratings. I'm just saying!
