Really pleased with how this HaRGB Andromeda image came out! RGB data captured in October from dark skies, H-alpha from Chicago a couple nights back. Processed in #pixinsight

This is incredible.
From @Jamie_Lane where AirBnBs are fully booked next week.
Thanks! Depends on the filter in use but generally 3-4 sheets for broadband filters. Some cloudy night a while back I set up the scope inside and figured it out for each filter so I have them handily pre-stacked.
Awesome #starlink pass over Chicago! As predicted it went right through the frame for the Soul Nebula! Not spaced out enough to see many individual trails in the 2-min exposure, but quite an impressive streak.

Not a bad-looking comet from very light-polluted skies in Chicago!
Gotta play around more with reducing the star trails, but given the conditions I am very happy with how this turned out!

Yes, going with 10s subs since I am fighting B9 skies and only using the IR cut filter. Adds up quickly!
Yes, was able to get some undithered data last night and stacked that with the comet alignment tool. Really powerful!
Also present in the full FOV is this little guy: NGC2591, a magnitude 12 galaxy at a cool 67 million light-years distance.
From urban skies with a gibbous moon 🤯
Comet hunting in the bright skies of Chicago!
15-min live-stack from the ASIAir Plus and you can see how much the comet has moved in just that time!

Hello, 🔥 and 🐴
Giving the 533MC Pro a try and very happy with it so far! Tried some new things with processing.
Just 2.5 hours integration with NBZ filter on the RASA 8 from Chicago 😎

Glad to see everyone finally coming around on #CocaineBear . Little known fact, Cocaine Bear was first visualized by English astronomer John Flamsteed in 1776.
Live stack from the ASIAir Plus.
