Why am I sharing this?
In the past few months I've been building in private and working on personal projects while using social media less and less..
It's been great!
1. I don't check my timeline (sorry if I don't engage with your posts, it's not personal and I still love you)
2. I don't do little posts to serve the algorithm anymore.
3. I don't post all the things I create, unless I have a specific reason for doing so.
Results:
✅ PROS:
1. I'm very focused, creative and productive.
2. I made some great professional connections with people who don't even use social media (not everyone is here).
❌ CONS(?):
1. The algorithm made me disappear from everyone else's timeline, so when I share something I care about nobody sees it.
2. I miss some "important" news (this might actually be a blessing in disguise..! 😋)

The pros outweigh the cons for me right now. 🙂
I used to "burn a lot of calories" here.
Now I'm using all the extra energy to focus on "real life" and it's been good!
(I'm playing sax a lot and I'm loving it! 🎷)
I miss hanging out digitally with a lot of you, but I’m sure life will find a way to bring us together again. 💪🏽
⚙ Side note about web3:
Connecting with people IRL (who might not use social media) is how we get healthy growth for our space and how we avoid the echo chamber/cult effect.
I want to do more of this with Nifty Music.

Thinking today about the music NFT canon. A list of some of the most important music NFTs to the trajectory of the ecosystem.
As I continue to explore "music NFTs as fine art" as a concept, something that is tough to find is a list of canonical or important list of music NFTs.
Whether its through the OG cryptomusic movement, @Verite's experiments in royalties in 2021, @CallMeLatasha and the proliferation of music videos as NFTs, @3LAU and his historic $11M album NFT sale, @talktimeband's first use of the token media as the player, the proliferation of music NFT PFPs by @violettazironi & @NiftyMusicApp, the huge @HaleekMaul sale(s) on @catalogworks, the recent cross chain and bitcoin exploits of @KaneMayfield, or even folks from before my time like @vandigital and @djlethalskillz...etc etc
I firmly believe there's a value we haven't talked about in the distribution of the history of the important things that have happened in the music NFT ecosystem.
Canon creates (and tells) stories. Canon informs culture. Canon informs collecting.
Okay that's all my ranting for today. For right now.

WE ARE ALL GHOSTS.
“GHOST.” my genesis NFT is dropping this week and I’m so excited!
I’m doing this as a Floor Drop with @NiftyMusicApp & @NiftySax whom I’m extremely grateful for.
This will be done in a couple of phases.
PHASE 1 - MINTPASSES go live. Collect the mintpass to secure the GHOST. NFT for 0.02 E on Optimism.

PHASE 2 -Mint the GHOST. NFT for an additional 0.03 E on ETH mainnet (0.05 E total).
You then receive 5 GHOST. NFTs with generative artwork. There will be utilities attached to rarity, which I will elaborate upon in the near future.
I can’t wait for this & I’m super excited to go on this journey with all of you!
