BTW, all the controversy surrounding the expensive animator is going to ensure that there will be enough demand for them to justify the price. That, and that certain vtubers will treat it as a flex, so it will become a Veblen Good (higher price results in more sales, not less). Despite my post earlier about generating something with AI for free, I really don't blame them for playing the game. Legitimately, it will be more difficult for someone to compete as a professional animator as time goes on, so do what you need to do to survive. I certainly can't afford that kind of money, but if there's people who can, hey, get that bag. 👍
